Under 12’s kicked off the new season with a 2-1 win.
Although the boys weren’t at their free flowing best they worked hard, showed great character and stuck together right until the end.
Todays man of the match went to Max, a great performance from Max, always wanting the ball, positionally on point and made some great challenges well done mate very mature performance today.

Parents man of the match was a tie between Zac and Finn, Zac is showing a level of consistency which is amazing to see he works really hard and breaks up play really well in the middle and never gives the opposition a minute, Finn played well today getting us back level after great distribution from H then putting a free kick in top corner with 2 mins left.

Well done lads good 3 points to start the season ⚫️🟡

Under 12’s played out an entertaining 2-2 draw today, with goals from our Twins Harry and Freddie.

Words from stand in gaffers for the day.
“Really lads i have no negatives today I thought you all did your jobs pretty well, a couple of lapses in concentration for their goals but all in all workrate was good and a really good watch 💛🖤”

Man of the match went to Finn with Zac picking up Parents man of the match.

Under 12’s were in friendly action today against Kiveton in a topsy turvy affair.
We missed a penalty after a good save from Kivetons keeper, not long after our first goal came from a corner that went deep Elliott picked up the loose ball and dropped it back to Noah who’s cross come shot whipped over the keeper and off the post and in. Noah was soon on the score sheet again, good link up between Roman and Coops on the right, Coops delivered into the box and there was Noah to tap home. Kiveton keeper made some great stops to keep the score at 2.
Second half we continued to look dangerous and we were soon 3 nil up after a great turn and shot into the bottom corner from Coops showing a strikers instinct.
3 nill up and seemingly cruising …. Not for long.
Back came Kiveton with some quick fire goals 4 in the space of 6 mins, the boys looked beat.
Time for one last attack, a goal kick from H broke in the middle, Rowan was the quickest to react and lobbed a ball forward, Finn latched onto it showed great strength to hold off the defender and poked home to equalise.
Final score 4-4.
Todays Parents man of the match went to Noah, great display full of energy and 2 goals to boot.
Man of the match went to Elliott, good work rate down the left hand side, winning headers, tracking runners, being positive in possession.
Well done lads, showed character today⚫️🟡

Under 12’s Europa League winners today at Hyde Park Tournament.
Lost 1 in the group against Handsworth 1-0 (dubious goal to say the least), the boys progressed non the less and won the semi and final comfortably.

Under 11’s signed off their season in style by dominating a side that came out the top pot at Christmas from start to finish.
Electric start which continued until full time, what a performance, what a team everything was left on the grass today the boys were outstanding.
It’s been a great season losing just 1 in the league, well done boys as always it’s been a pleasure.
Man of match went to the lot of them, that’s what it means to wear the yellow and black, commitment, passion, ability and teamwork. Class boys 🫶🏻⚫️🟡⚫️🟡

Under 11’s season came to an abrupt end today going out of the cup narrowly losing 3-2.

On the day we couldn’t get it done despite hitting the woodwork 3 times, missing a pen and having a goal ruled off for offside. Everything bar the kitchen sink in the second half was thrown but the footballing gods weren’t on our side.

Man of the match went to Noah.
He worked really hard all game, bags of energy and great work, he scored a great goal.

Parents man of the match was a tie, Noah again and Louis. Louis was cool calm and collected, great in possession an strong in the tackle and very nearly got us level after walloping the bar.

Well done lads, we’ve had a great season overall, back next year, bigger, better & stronger 🫶🏻⚫️🟡

Our under 11’s had to do it ugly today but they got the job done.
We started really well, went in front and then just stopped doing the things we were doing well. Credit to lads though second half they dug in and showed character to keep our momentum rolling.
Man of match went to Cooper and Finn, second half they led the line well, worked hard, were always available for the ball and held it up to allow others to get forward.
Parents man of match went to Harry, good composed performance today and got us off the mark early on.

Back on the horse today for the Under 11’s, fortress Blackouts continues.
First half we were in second gear an had loads more to give and the boys delivered in the second half, workrate improved, teamwork improved and the boys enjoyed themselves.
Todays man of the match went to Finn, good display at the back, calm in possession and distributed well moved up top for last ten and made his mark at the other end.
Todays parents man of the match went to Noah, he really grew into the game and got a couple of rewards in the second half, his workrate up and down was excellent, clinical in front of goal and he played with the biggest smile on his face.
Well done lads, solid performance, good team display ⚫️🟡
