As a former swim teacher, warm summer days make me nervous when the kids want to swim outdoors, especially now the pools are all closed. It can be fun but also incredibly dangerous.

Please be aware and teach your children about the dangers of swimming in rivers/lochs/reservoirs/sea. Help them to stay SAFE

Well folks, this week has been so tough saying my final farewell to all my Wee Nemos 🐠🐠🐠😢thank you to all the mums and dads for all the lovely cards and gifts you are all far too kind💕Also thank you all for bringing your kids to me for swimming, I have loved being part of their journey and wish them all lots more fun swimming adventures for the rest of their lives 🐬

Hi folks, there’s no easy way for me to say this but after much deliberation I have decided to hang up my wetsuit at the end of the summer term and will not be returning after the summer holidays. This may come as a surprise to you and I’m therefore giving you as much notice as possible to allow you time to find an alternative classes for your kids.

Having been a Chartered Civil Engineer previously, deciding to become a swimming teacher was a huge change for me. Making that decision has given me 6 amazing years of watching your children grow, learn and accomplish things they never knew they could. Not only that but, Wee Nemos has given me the chance to be there for my own family who were the very reason for my change in career.

I am incredibly proud of all my Wee Nemos and can honestly say in the past 6 years I’ve enjoyed every minute of teaching. Your children are amazing and I would like to thank all of the mums and dads, aunties, uncles, grannies and gradads, for bringing them to me every week.

Lessons will continue as normal though term time and up until the 4th July. As always, if you have any queries please just ask.

Well, apart from all the amazing swimming I have seen from all my Wee Nemos this term, I have been blown away by the amazing generosity of all you mums and dads, granny’s and grandads who have donated to my collection for MFR mission Christmas.
Together we have raised £85 + all these lovely gifts which I will take to MFR tomorrow. From the bottom of my heart thank you all 💕

Wishing you all the timeless treasures of Christmas, the warmth of home, the love of family and the company of good friends in the year ahead🎄

Hi folks, hope you’ve all had a great holidays with the kids. sorry I’ve not messaged sooner, I’m happy to say that our house is now complete and we’ve had a busy old time in the holidays moving over to the new place!
