Didcot Netball Club

Didcot Netball Club Friendly netball club with both adult and junior teams. Suitable for all abilities. We also have two High 5 teams.

Didcot Netball Club started in 2009 as a small group of mums who entered a local Back to Netball tournament. The experience led to the determination to set up a local club and two players became coaches, to enable the club to move forwards and the club was officially formed in January 2010. In 2011 Didcot Netball Club registered for CAPS (Club Action Planning Scheme). Now, we have bronze level CAP

S and have grown to have four senior and five junior teams competing in the Oxfordshire Netball League. Didcot Netball Club will continue to focus on fun, fitness and team participation for the town and surrounding villages. Anyone interested in joining DNC can contact [email protected]

🌌 Galaxies, our Division One team, dominated against ACNC B, winning comfortably 40-23! Congratulations to Julie for POM! 👏🏼

🪐 Saturns, our Division Two team, had a tough game against top-of-the-league ACNC Vets, and were defeated 43-17. Congratulations to Grace for POM! 👏🏼

☄️ Comets, our Division Three team, had a bye, and will be back in action on the 25th March!

🌌 Galaxies, our Division One team, came back from seven goals down at half-time to beat Challow A 36-28! Congratulations to captain Cerys for POM! 👏🏼

🪐 Saturns, our Division Two team, narrowly beat Wallingford Cyclones 28-24. Congratulations to Izzie for POM! 👏🏼

🌌 Galaxies, our Division One team, were beaten 42-33 by top-of-the-league Randoms Pink. Congratulations to Lucy for POM! 👏🏼

🪐 Saturns, our Division Two team, won 44-18 against Bicester Bullets Green. Congratulations to Luisa for POM! 👏🏼

After two weeks of cancelled matches… we finally got some match time! 😍

🌌 GALAXIES - DIVISION ONE
Galaxies went three from three after they beat Bicester Bullets White 42-24! Again, Galaxies were calm and collected on court - the definition of playing their own game! The squad is really coming together, which we LOVE to see!

🪐 SATURNS - DIVISION TWO
Saturns started their match against Oxford Royals Topaz well, going ahead in the first quarter. However, a lack of flow and errors in all three thirds made the final quarters tricky for the girls, meaning they eventually lost 26-18. We’re sure the girls will find their rhythm again soon!

☄️ COMETS - DIVISION THREE
Comets narrowly lost their game against Eynsham B 27-26. Despite the conditions worsening for their game, the team are going strength to strength in every match. Both defensive and attack played cleverly, even when the centre third got a bit busy, and the team are getting more confident with every pass.

Don’t worry… we haven’t been forgetting about you 😉

For the past two Wednesdays, all senior Oxfordshire Netball League matches have been cancelled due to the wet and cold weather, which makes the courts much more slippery ⛸️

Wednesday 12th November 2025

🌌 GALAXIES - DIVISION ONE
Galaxies made it two wins on the bounce after their close win over Challow A! There was energy injected into every third of the court, with the team maintaining composure through the entire match. This calm excellence meant Galaxies won 35-32!
Congratulations to Lucy, who made her return to Galaxies in this match, for POM! 👏🏼

🪐 SATURNS - DIVISION TWO
Saturns battled against unfavourable court conditions to take yet another win in their season! Despite being tentative due to slippery courts, the girls’ kept their form with great transitions of play up court and capitalising whenever they could, wrapping up the match 40-15.

☄️ COMETS - DIVISION THREE
Comets rounded off another great evening for Didcot with a win too! The team beat Vale C 42-15 by full-time, which is testament to the hard work of each player. The attack flowed nicely, and defence challenged for every ball. A round, a fantastic team performance!

Wednesday 5th November 2025

🌌 GALAXIES - DIVISION ONE
Galaxies secured their third win of the season in their match against Wallingford Hurricanes after winning the match 28-22! The team really came alive in the second half, keeping composure and working the ball up court cleanly despite new combinations being on show.
Congratulations to Lily for POM! 👏🏼

🪐 SATURNS - DIVISION TWO
Saturns kept good form with their 6th win of the season after beating Sweaty Netties 34-19. Both teams came up from Division Three last year, so it was familiar opposition for the girls. Even with a few of the typical starting seven being out ill, the girls gelled together nicely, with some strong passes and excellent play.
Congratulations to Cerys, who was being borrowed from Galaxies, for POM! 👏🏼

☄️ COMETS - DIVISION THREE
Comets had a close game against Abingdon Eagles Blue, which ultimately resulted in a 33-23 loss for the ladies. The team are still trying to find their rhythm with positionings, but their combinations are getting stronger every single week! To steal a point from this game is a huge win for the squad.

Wednesday 29th October 2025

🌌 GALAXIES - DIVISION ONE
Galaxies went up against tough opposition on Wednesday night, as they faced Randoms Pink. Despite different rotations throughout the match, Galaxies adapted well and played well in some really difficult conditions. Unfortunately, the scoreline didn’t reflect the ladies’ hard work, and the match finished 42-17.

🪐 SATURNS - DIVISION TWO
Saturns stole their 5th win of the season after beating Bicester Bullets Green 33-23! It was a very tight game with a few borrowed players subbing in, but despite this, the team were able to keep their form and bring home another hard-fought victory.
Congratulations to Erin for POM! 👏🏼

☄️ COMETS - DIVISION THREE
Comets suffered a 31-20 loss to Comets Silver in their game. The scoreline does not reflect the effort of each player on court, who all displayed excellent play. The game could’ve gone either way, but Comets’ strong finish to the match saw them edge ahead.
