COULD YOU BE OUR NEXT CLUB HERO?
We Are Looking For a Club Safeguarding Officer!
Our current officer and committee member, Jo Badger, will be retiring from the Club in 2026/2027 and we cannot continue without one, so we're advertising for her replacement.
Do you want to help us create a warm, inclusive, and fun environment where everyone feels safe, supported and happy playing netball?
We need a friendly, caring face to look out for our wonderful junior community.
Are You...
• Approachable & Caring? A positive listener who is easy to talk to, especially for our younger players.
• Neutral & Fair? Someone empathetic who is great at handling sensitive details with care.
• Independent? Not directly involved in regular coaching or team management at the club.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Being the Friendly First Contact for any welfare, safety, or happiness worries.
• Guiding the Club on safe practices, friendly environments, and positive codes of conduct.
• Connecting with England Netball to update confidential records and escalate serious concerns safely.
• Helping Our Volunteers Grow by pointing coaches and helpers toward the right safety training.
Become a member of the committee
The Essentials:
• An active England Netball affiliation and registration on ENgage.
• A completed, clear Enhanced DBS Check through England Netball.
• Don't worry about the workshops! We will support you to complete your introductory safeguarding courses within your first year.
