Where to start about this weekend
Well first of all thank you to Nora for holding the event in landrake, that includes all the marshalls that beared the heat all weekend aswell.
With the heat into the 30s all weekend it was very demanding on the teams and the bikes.
Saturday
Practice
P17
Got a feel of the track went for a oush lap landing the step up and snapping the gear shift shaft. This is the point we thought it was pack up time as we didn't have a spare with us but thankfully Tony Grahame did and come to the rescue.
Race 1
P14
With having to work on the bike so much between practice and race 1 Connor wasn't able to hydrate at all and felt really sick just after the first lap so the boys just got to the finish line but with other teams pulling out and breaking down they come back in 14th.
Race 2
P12
Abit more push this race but not the pace we was looking for but again got a finish and same as race before with teams backing out and breaking down the boys come home 12th
Race 3
P13
With getting a fair start they got into the mix and was running 9th with pushing 8th with 2 laps to go missed gears and wrong gears and no grip kept losing positions but was great battles but come out of it 13th
Sunday
Practice
This was optional for this day but where the boys come in Saturday after race 3 the clutch wasn't working. They decided to go out which was a mistake.
With heavy watering after the step down just going back up the hill the bike come around and spat the boys over and snapped the hand rail.
Race 1
Dnf
Into the top 10 again with break downs and people pulling out. Connor didn't feel confident in the quick fix of the handrail and was trying everything not to hold on. but with 2 laps to go the bike come to a stop with no compression it ended a dnf.
Race 2
Was good racing to watch before we drove home.
Race 3
We hope everyone got round safely
