One of our hardworking little gymnasts fundraising for Homeless Oxfordshire in a difficult time for many. Lets see is we can help her to smash her target several times over!

This is Bea, she is 9 years old and she is running a marathon over the space of 2 weeks in order to raise money for our projects here at Homeless Oxfordshire. She has already smashed her target of £300 and raised an amazing £575! Bea is doing amazingly and we will continue to check in with her over this 2 week period! Covid 19 Update

As a club this is a very tough time, with difficult decisions to be made. Until now we have chosen not to cancel classes as it was felt that with the schools open there was so much contact between children that the small classes we hold afforded very little extra opportunity for infection.

With nationwide school closures now announced from Friday it is with great sadness that I have made the decision to suspend all recreational classes after Friday until further notice.

Friday evening we will be getting all of remaining equipment out of the girls school in Didcot. We will be allowed onto the site at 17:00 and expect to have to make at least 2 trips between the school and the storage facility (less than 10 mins away), if you are free to help with lifting kit (some of it is quite heavy) then let me know, if we can get maybe 4 more volunteers it will make it quicker and easier. We may also still need a bit more garage/shed space.

Upton Fete!

This Saturday we will be doing our normal display at Upton Village Fete. The aim is to start at about 14:00, so we will leave Wantage leisure Centre at about 13:30. We have a large van for kit so we shouldn't need any help transporting stuff. Anyone taking part in the display (all welcome) we will do some run throughs during the morning session so if you can come along to the Leisure Centre anytime from 11:00 on Saturday! If you cant make it early then just come along to Upton for about 13:45.

Hi, We need to temporarily (though not sure how long for!) store quite a large amount of equipment. Some items are 5m long, but thin, we have some large rolls of mats, and one foam block which is 3mx1.5mx60cm. We probaby need around 200 square feet (I know brilliant clash of units:-).

If anyone feels they can help with this then please get in contact with me urgently.

BBQ. In a slight change to plans the Kinetic BBQ will be held at 17:00 in Upton on the rec! We hope to have the village ahll availablr until 21:00 We will finish training at 16:00 to allow us to pack up and get there!

PLease bring your own food, and maybe something small to share (if any keen parent wants to take charge of food please step forward now!). We will provide a couple of BBQs.

Really sorry for late announcment. Now home and unpacked with graduate daughter back in the house :-)

Tomorrow (Sunday 7/7/19) We will run from 12:00 for everyone (both 12:00 and 13:30 classes). Those who normally attend Saturday also welcome.

We will have to put the kit up before training, and away again afterwards. So please come into the gym to help at the start and end of the session. We will start training as soon as kit is up.

Just a quick reminder that Thursday 4th and Sat 6th of July all normal sessions are cancelled as I will be attending my daughter's graduation.

Also following that weekend if your daughter is being coached by Laura then her coach has a 1st class MSc in Earth Sciences from Durham University :-)
