Day 2.

Dog walk early doors and foundational strength class done by 07:30.

I have forgotten how much I miss getting out early before the world wakes up not just because it’s going to be a furnace this week!

What I have missed the most is the quietness a great chance to get out and be mobile without the noise that each day can bring no screens or time pressure etc…

Good luck to everyone today doing what ever you are doing keep as cool as possible at work ,and if you are doing any exercise outside make sure it’s short and slow, wear a hat and take water with you and maybe some cash incase you need some more hydration.

Or sack it off and do it early doors or very late and find an air conditioned gym.

So here we go another week of high temperatures, so early morning dog walks required keeping it short and steady.

Tuesday evening with the Run for Fun crew — hill repeats out in the countryside. 🏃‍♂️⛰️

There’s something about suffering up a hill together that bonds people. Every repeat, every heavy breath, every “one more” — all of it shared. That’s what this group is about.

The secret isn't waiting until you feel ready it's building habits small enough that you show up anyway.

10 minutes. A walk. A few reps. It all counts.

Consistency over perfection, every single time. 💪

Lovely Sunday afternoon run with running a route I have not ran since before Covid.

A great route with a 5 mins to warm up before you hit a nice steady hill then a nice steady downhill.

A good 85% off road across fields and trails and a few styles along the way.

Very happy today as I’ve been completely off my running for about 4 weeks possibly longer if I’m honest with myself so last week 4:14 miles and today 4:74 so all going in the right way need to set myself some brand news goals maybe a couple to give me something to aim for.
