Our development team were out today for their first league game of the season. A competitive game, which finished 2-2, and plenty of positives throughout. The number of shots and oppertunities the team created proved that pre season paid off and lines us up for a really promising season.

Player of the match today goes to Becka Banks , who was a key player throughout, showing strength on the attack and reacting quickly to cut out any danger.

Thank you to Brierly Cubs for a great game, both teams played in a great spirit and worked hard for the tied result.

Our first game of the season sees us come out 5-2 winners against a strong Boroughbridge AFC

We took a little time to get into the game but came alive in the second half, some unreal goals on display and an incredible team performance, we ran and worked for each other and left it all out there. A deserved victory in the end in a game that is always highly contested.

A shoutout to Kirst for helping us out by playing in goal while our keeper is out and to Abi for her first game as our new captain! And to chloekemp.xx for 2 goals & 2 assists on her debut!

But man of the match goes to Danielle Dec who filled in at left back and put in a solid performance marshalling their tricky winger and showing great strength to protect the goal in her first game for the club!

We will face in the final at The West Riding ground on May 3rd with an early Kick Off of 11am!
