Following the on-field session, representatives from both the RFL and Heavy Woollen ARL will remain in the clubhouse to answer questions and discuss the competition in more detail.

🏉 TOUCH RUGBY IS COMING THIS SUMMER 🏉

The Heavy Woollen District are expanding the new Summer Touch Rugby Pilot and are now inviting additional clubs and teams to get involved.

This is a great opportunity to keep players active over the summer months, develop skills and enjoy a fast-paced version of the game in a relaxed environment.

📍 7-week summer competition
📍 Friday evening fixtures
📍 Under 11s upwards
📍 6-a-side touch rugby
📍 Boys and girls teams welcome
📍 Non-contact format

Existing players will be eligible to play under their current RFL registration, while a free Touch Rugby registration option will also be available for any new players wishing to enter the competition.

We’re looking to grow the game, build participation and create more playing opportunities across the district and beyond.
