It wasn't quite to be in the end for our Ladies who fall to a 4-2 defeat away at Kirkstall, meaning we miss out on promotion by 1 point.

To say we are proud of this group though is an understatement. Going from almost bottom of the league last season to only losing 3 games this season is an unbelievable achievement. Scoring 107 goals in the process too btw!

Still incredibly proud to promote the Women's game, offering facilities to Dewsbury and the surrounding areas that are second to none!

We will be back stronger than ever!

Although the season is just coming to an end, work preparing for next season has already started this morning!

๐Ÿšœ Our annual pitch renovation programme started today with the reseeding of the entire 23,000m2 playing surface. This kick starts the first of several treatments that the pitches receive at the end of each season.

๐ŸŒฑ Combined with Verti-Drain work, fertiliser and herbicide applications alongside our regular maintenance, this ensures our pitches are ready for another busy season.

Plenty of candidates for todays Player of the Match award, however scoring 6 goals probably tips it in your favour!

Emily has been outstanding for us this season, scoring an impressive 36 goals in 17 games. With one more game to go, I'm sure she will be looking to add to that tally!

In what was a must win game for the Ladies this afternoon, Rangers made absolutely no mistake, dominating the game from the start scoring double figures in the process.

Missing two penalties and drawing several good saves from the Durkar goalkeeper, the scoreline could have been even more emphatic as we looked to close the gap on league leaders Guiseley.
