I have been qualified and practicing since 2019 as a Yoga Therapist - The Yoga Therapy process is empowering for an individual as therapist and client work together to address specific goals and or ailments while considering any limitations you might be experiencing to progress toward improved health and well-being through the applications of ancient philosophy, teachings , wisdom and practices of Yoga. I invite you to a range of body, breath and mind practices to help you live a more grounded and mindful life, to support your wellbeing and enhance your life, safe in the knowledge that everything is tailored to suit you to do together and at home in your own time. If you’re living with chronic health issues and looking for more additional help, you can combine therapeutic yoga safely with conventional medical treatment. The summer months can be a beautiful whirlwind, but it’s just as important to find moments of stillness. I’m opening up my studio (and my garden, weather permitting!) for a series of special summer workshops designed to help you restore, rebalance, and reconnect.

✨ An invitation to pause, breathe, and connect. ✨

I am deeply honored to be sharing a truly unique workshop coming up on June 20th: Breath-Body-Mind™ (BBM).

Back in 2019, I read a small, life-changing book called “The Healing Power of the Breath.” Inspiring and easy to read, it sparked a deep curiosity in me to explore my own healing journey. Later that year, I began training directly with the authors, Drs. Richard Brown and Patricia Gerbarg.

As a Yoga Therapist and talking therapist, I initially used these simple yet potent practices for myself, navigating my own trauma and mental health. What astounded me—and continues to amaze me every day—is just how accessible and gentle these trauma-informed breath and movement practices are. Yet, they are incredibly effective, bringing deep balance to the nervous system and supporting optimum health for the heart and lungs.

This workshop is truly for everyone. ❤️

As an advanced BBM teacher and trainer, I have had the privilege of offering these sessions internationally online to healthcare professionals, survivors of mass disasters, individuals managing depression, anxiety, or PTSD, and those living with chronic medical illnesses.

But BBM is so much more than just a practice. It is a space that brings community, safety, and deep connection.

Whether you are looking to support your own well-being, manage stress, or simply find a moment of peace, you are so welcome here. No prior experience is needed.

Today as I reflect on it being Mental Health Awareness week - I hold my heart that is feeling vulnerable today;

- I remind myself that it is ok to sometimes not feel you are enough
- it’s ok to meet sadness when it surfaces
- and sometimes we just need to slow down , pause and rest

With my hand on my heart ❤️ I feel a tender connection and a restful sigh within

My favourite mantra at these times is to tell myself - “I am Doing My Best”

If you know someone struggling with their mental health dont forget to reach out and check on them - just an “are you ok?” Is enough.

I look forward to restarting some evening sessions to support anyone to release stress, anxiety or depression next week - we move gently and breath together; and take deep restorative rest - in my studio or online

✨ Reflections from the Heart of Portugal 🇵🇹

I am spending these next few days in quiet rest, feeling incredibly humble, inspired, and grateful. I’ve just finished co-hosting a cleansing and detox retreat with the wonderful Lucy Smail in her beautiful home, and my heart is so full.

We spent five joyful days with a group of truly wonderful women who took the brave and necessary time for themselves. Together, we journeyed through deep reflections as the Scorpio Full Moon arrived on Beltane—a powerful, illuminating energy that set the tone for our entire stay.
Our Journey Included:

⭐ Morning Magic: Sunrise Sun Salutations to greet the day.
⭐ Movement & Flow: Experiential sessions integrating Yoga, Qigong, Breathwork, and Sound to celebrate who we have been, who we are now, and who we are becoming.
⭐ Nature’s Wisdom: Foraging for local, natural plants from the surrounding area to create a vibrant, healing, and tasty salad.
⭐ Spiritual Connection: Discovering our spirit animals and finding deep inspiration from our Animal Spirit and Wild & Sacred Feminine decks.
⭐ Creative Release: Journaling and creative expression to notice our shadows, witness them, and prepare to release them as the moon wanes.
⭐ Fire Rituals: Sitting around the Beltane fire, using the flames as a symbol for transformation—just like the phoenix rising.

We were nourished by Lucy’s incredible organic meals and juices. She pours so much love and positive energy into everything she prepares, and you can truly taste it!

Thank you to the wonderful group of ladies who joined me for the 10 weeks of the yoga 4 health programme at The Mind Tree Cafe - it was a true honour to share with you all and see the wonderful progress you all made

⭐ we balanced
⭐ we moved and breathed
⭐ we strengthened our awareness and our bodies
⭐ and we had fun making new friends

The best was seeing you all grabbing coffee and food together afterwards at the cafe - what a wonderful venue as well.

I look forward to planning more sessions later this year - ❤️
