On site, we use Agrovista Amenityโ€™s natural fertiliser across our natural turf pitches. The organic matter content and low carbon to nitrogen ratio promotes stimulation of essential soil microorganisms๐ŸŒฑ

Weโ€™ve also recently invested in a PV Solar system with battery storage! Weโ€™re trying to reduce our carbon footprint by replacing fossil fuels with clean, renewable energy!โšก๏ธ

To reduce the use of plastic bottles we installed a water refill station that has been used over 20,000 times and replaced over 16,000 plastic bottles!๐Ÿšฐ

Last month, over 60 people came together for a brilliant day celebrating the work that goes into grassroots football in Wiltshire. With more than 20 sites or clubs represented, plus our Grounds and Facility Support Partners: Agrovista Amenity, Lister Wilder, Fleet Line Markers and Replay Maintenance on hand. There was a real buzz around Stanley Park Sports Ground, which was presented immaculately by their grounds team.โญ๏ธ

Guests got up close with grounds machinery, were able to chat with industry experts and there were presentations on machinery safety, Football Foundation funding and endโ€‘ofโ€‘season renovations. Leaving everyone with fresh ideas and practical knowledge to take back to their own pitches.๐Ÿšœ

Highlight of the day?
We heard from the Head Groundsmen at Forest Green Rovers and Swindon Town, who shared an honest and inspiring โ€œday in the lifeโ€ of a professional groundsman. A proper โ€œfeelโ€‘goodโ€ day for the grassroots community! ๐Ÿ‘ฅ
