Last month, over 60 people came together for a brilliant day celebrating the work that goes into grassroots football in Wiltshire. With more than 20 sites or clubs represented, plus our Grounds and Facility Support Partners: Agrovista Amenity, Lister Wilder, Fleet Line Markers and Replay Maintenance on hand. There was a real buzz around Stanley Park Sports Ground, which was presented immaculately by their grounds team.โญ๏ธ
Guests got up close with grounds machinery, were able to chat with industry experts and there were presentations on machinery safety, Football Foundation funding and endโofโseason renovations. Leaving everyone with fresh ideas and practical knowledge to take back to their own pitches.๐
Highlight of the day?
We heard from the Head Groundsmen at Forest Green Rovers and Swindon Town, who shared an honest and inspiring โday in the lifeโ of a professional groundsman. A proper โfeelโgoodโ day for the grassroots community! ๐ฅ
