After a disappointing result last weekend, the Town are back on the road this Saturday as we look to bounce back against Down Ampney. 💪⚽

Last week simply wasn’t good enough, and the lads will be determined to put that right on Saturday. A reaction is needed, and we’ll be looking for a much-improved performance from the first whistle. 🔥

FULL TIME | Shrivenham 7–1 Devizes Town

A tough afternoon and a result we simply have to own.

Credit to Shrivenham — they were excellent and deserved the win. But from our perspective, we were below the standards we’ve set ourselves across the whole pitch.

We’ll take the result on the chin, learn from it and bounce back. 💪

Shrivenham sit top of the league and unbeaten after their opening six games.

We head there following back-to-back 1-1 draws, determined to turn those performances into three points.

FULL TIME | Devizes Town FC 1–1 Faringdon Town FC

We take a point after a hard-fought evening at Nursteed Road. 🔴⚪

⚽ Harvey Swain opened the scoring, assisted by Kieran Balchin.

Despite Faringdon going down to 10 men after 30 minutes, we couldn’t capitalise on the man advantage.

The second half saw us struggle to create enough against a tough and well-organised side.

As we pushed for the winner, Jack Cross produced a couple of important saves to keep the game level.

No game this weekend, so we reset and go again on Saturday 5th September when we face top-of-the-table Shrivenham FC.

A game of missed chances and one absolute worldie from their No.11. ⚽️🔥

The boys showed real character to keep the score level, especially after Kristian Andrew was shown a red card, leaving us to play the final 28 minutes with 10 men. 💪
