NEW PLAYERS WANTED 🤩

We have an amazing opportunity to start a new women’s team, making that two at the club!!

Womens football is starting to grow massively and we want to be able to provide a pathway for 16 year olds coming up into women’s football, a space for women to come and try something new or even women that want to fall in love with football again or just continue in their passion.

We had our first season which we saw a group of women’s come together, build amazing friendships, increase their social, learn together, play together and grow! It was an amazing first year in league action and everyone has come so far already!

If you’re debating it, come give it a go with us and fall in love with the game and the competition the same as our current girls have!

It’s already been an incredible first year for us. The ups and downs and everything we have accomplished together as a team with everyone new and old has been more amazing than you could imagine🥳

Therefore, please come down to Dereham to support us and see us out for the last game of the season.

We have really appreciated everyone’s support throughout this season and we can’t wait to go through it all again with you next season 🫡

🏅 Awards begin at 8PM
🎤 Karaoke starts from 9PM

Limited picky food will be provided, with additional food available to purchase from the Coach’s snack menu throughout the evening.

North Walsham 1-1 Dersingham Ladies

Dersy ladies returned to action after a break for the bank holiday. Dersy struggled to get their heads in the game for the first 10 minutes, but soon picked up the pace and gave a good battle. Crystal found the back of the net with a fantastic header from a corner kick putting Dersy 1-0 up and keeping a clean sheet against a strong North Walsham team at the half time whistle.
Dersy started the second half strong as did North Walsham who came out fighting after the half time break. Unfortunately North Walsham’s corner saw them equalise. Dersy battled hard against an aggressive team but we gave as good as we got. Happy to take the 1-1 draw and 1 point.

Dersingham Ladies 6-1 Watton ladies

Dersy Ladies played their last home game of the season against Watton on a beautiful day, with the sun shining down on the pitch. We had a lot of things to play for today with Taya and Shayna’s debut, Carolyn’s birthday, Chloe playing in memory of her grandad and our very own coach running the London Marathon
The team looked calm, focused, and ready as they prepared for kick-off.

From the first whistle, Dersy took control of the game, showing confidence and composure on the ball. They played some excellent football, moving the ball well with great passing and teamwork that kept Watton under pressure.
Their hard work paid off in the first half, with Dersy dominating the scoreboard. By half-time, Dersy had built an impressive 4–0 lead, putting them firmly in charge of the match.

Watton came back stronger in the second half and managed to score a goal, but Dersy responded with determination and fighting spirit. They pushed forward again and added two more goals, sealing a strong performance and an excellent result in their final home game of the season.

Our very own Dom Howell is running the London Marathon this Sunday. As much as we will miss having you on the sideline we are all 100% behind you and know you will smash it!
