After a fantastic semester 1, we are back tonight to start training for semester 2.
Some fantastic results, especially from our freshers.
Shane kept our All Ireland Champion streak alive for the four year, winning gold and silver at 73kg in junior and senior respectively.
Quinn took silver at the Abidjan African Open, bronze at the British championships and is now ranked top 3 in the UK.
Adam and Cormac both medaled at the NI Closed, beating black belts on the way despite being orange and green belt at the time.
Eoin entered his first ever judo competition at the North West Open, winning gold with several dominant performances.
Several other students competed at various competitions, some for the first time and represented the club very well.
Everyone is now looking forward to competing at the Irish and British university championships in the coming months.
Any new students interested in starting judo are more than welcome to join, Mondays at 7pm in the sports hall.
