Mumbles 26–7 Deri Broncos
The Broncos travelled to Mumbles today for our first game of the season, and unfortunately it wasn’t the start we were hoping for.
We conceded a few soft tries early on, which left us with an uphill battle, and it was clear that the boys were a little rusty after the summer break. There were plenty of things for us to work on, but credit to the boys, they never stopped battling.
The second half showed a much-improved performance, with greater intensity, better decision-making and a real willingness to fight for every ball. There were plenty of positives to take away as we continue to build as a team.
A big well done to Caden and Tyler on making their first appearances of the season. Both showed plenty of promise and will only get better as they get more game time. 👏

⭐ Player of the Match – Regan Williams
POTM went to our Number 8, Regan Williams, who put in an absolute solid performance in both attack and defence. Regan made some great metres, carried strongly and put in some powerful hits throughout the game.
A fantastic shift from Regan — well deserved! ❤️💚
We take the positives, learn from the mistakes and move forward. Plenty to work on, but plenty of promise too.
