Hollie - has come such a long way in such a short space of time. Every single lesson she is so keen to learn despite those fears. You should be very proud of yourself Hollie. Keep up the good work 🥰

Dereham’s swimmers of the month 🏆

Dennis - his confidence is growing week by week, he has found his love for the water. He absolutely loves jumping in now and submerging. This month he achieved his 5m distance award and is working really hard on blowing out his bubbles in the water. Well done Dennis 👏🏻

Charlie - he has made fantastic progress with his water confidence, especially in deeper water. He has worked incredibly hard and even managed to achieve his 10m award! 👏🏻

Archie - he has been working really hard on his independent swimming, building his confidence, and putting his face in the water while swimming. He has made brilliant progress and recently achieved his 5 metre award! 💪🏻

Harrison - he attended our summer intensive course at the start of the month to give him a boost in his learning. At first, he was not keen on putting his face in the water, but Harrison has recently made an incredible amount of progress. He is now not too far away from achieving his 5 metre award! 🥳

This is only our 3rd ever win as a team. Win or lose the girls always try their hardest and never put their heads down.

They have turned up to training and matches each week and learnt how to play this game we all love. Today was one of those games where it was a bit special and impossible for us to pick just one player as it would be unfair on all the others, it was 10/10 performances all over the pitch.

They have shown us now the standard they can play at, challenge is to keep that going!

💦SPLASH AND PLAY CLASSES💦

⚠️New Term starting Friday 4th September
📅Mondays 11.15am
📅Fridays 2.00pm
📍At our Dereham Pool

This is a fun, play based parent and child session, with a focus on activities like playing with floating toys and getting used to water being sprinkled over the body, to help build water confidence and enjoyment in young children.

These classes are intended for children of ages 0-4, with the parent accompanying them in the pool. This an opportunity for parent and child to enjoy quality 1 to 1 time in a warm private pool and in a safe environment. This is not a formal structured swimming lesson.

Only £6.50 for both parent and child, up to 45 minutes in the pool

⚠️NEW TERM⚠️

📆STARTING TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026

We still have a few spaces left to start the term for ⭐AQUAFIT⭐ at Swanton Morley Primary School on Tuesday mornings at 10.00am..

The classes are great fun, suitable for all abilities and affordable - and are held in a private pool!

Exercising in water can be less stressful on the body, with buoyancy reducing the impact on joints. The properties of the water can also make it a good environment for those who want a harder workout, as the muscles will need to overcome the resistance caused by the water's viscosity.

⭐AQUAFIT⭐ is truly a great exercise for any level of fitness!
All equipment is supplied by us, you will just need to bring a swimming costume and a towel!

What can I say about this player, she always gives us everything she has every game!
Today was no different, as she stood in for Evelyn as captain and led the team brilliantly. It's never easy to pick a team up and get them going when things are not going your way. Not only did she lead by example, with 2 goals and driving the team forward but we could also hear her encouraging the team with constant support.

Well done Ellie-Mai, a natural talent and looking forward to watching you play this season!

Opposition player of the game AND coaches player of the game.

It was a tough one to pick today as there were stand out performances all over the pitch. But we felt that some recognition was deserved for our Grace.

She might be the youngest player in the team but she has never let that put her off. Always battling, always running and gives everything she has for the team.

Yesterday, you saw that all in action; playing the lone striker and never stopping, always putting the defenders under pressure. It's one of the hardest positions to play as you have to link up play, lead the press and then try and score as well. She was unlucky yesterday not to hit the back of the net, with all the effort she put in. She is a privilege to coach and watch each week, keep going Grace the goals will come!

Well done to all of these wonderful children who took part in our Sunmer Intensive 1-1 swimming Course last week with Megan…

Every child did amazing and worked so hard, some children managed to achieve their next distance award, some their next grade, some swam unaided for the first time and others built on their water confidence 💦

Beauden - is one of our youngest swimmers but you wouldn’t have thought it when he is in the water. Every week he listens, follows instructions and reminds others of pool rules and the position we should be in ready to swim. This week Beauden swam unaided achieving his first distance award of 5m. Well done 👏🏻🥰

Dereham’s swimmers of the month 🏆

Hudson - is going from strength to strength with his swimming, so keen to learn and is always asking when in the water “Karly what’s next?” He always gives 💯% every lesson. Well done 👏🏻🥰

Declan - has recently moved up a grade. He shows up each week wanting to learn and giving everything his best effort, and as a result is improving so fast. Well done 👏🏻
