Based near Dereham we offer aquafit classes for all ages and abilities. Our teachers are Level 2 Certified Aqua Instructors and are also Level 2 Qualified in Poolside Safety. Water fitness has many benefits. Almost anybody can attend a session as everyone can work to their own ability and within their own fitness level. Exercising in the water is less stressful on the body because buoyancy helps to reduce the impact. The water offers good support for the body, so is suitable for people with injuries or minor health conditions. As water covers the submerged part of the body, the participant cannot be seen by the other members of the session, so any lack of co-ordination and body awareness is not a problem! ⭐ MAY'S SWIMMER OF THE MONTH⭐

Rudham's Swimmer of the Month 🏆
Lily - Lily joined us last August, terrified of swimming lessons, due to be submerged unwillingly before joining us.
Over the last nine months, Karly has been working with Lily to build a good trustful relationship, to help find again that love of the water. In the last 6-8 weeks, Lily has achieved swimming unaided & swam 5m.
In May, Lily has been submerging to collect sinkers & jumping off the side into the water without any support!
So proud of you Lily! 👏🏻 Well done 🥰

Edith - She has come on with so much in confidence in the few months that she has been swimming with us, and always puts in 100% effort🥇
Poppy - Poppy has become so much more independent with her swimming, and climbing out of the pool by herself. She has grown hugely in confidence and has such a positive attitude.😊

💦 STA International Learn to Swim Week💦

Well done to everyone who took part in last week's International Learn to Swim Week.

All of our ⭐Swim Stars⭐ took part in lots of activities to cover the topics including keeping safe in the water, learning to swim in clothing and rescue..

Congratulations to the three winners of our Learn to Swim Week medals and activity packs - Amber, Isla and Sienna. All three of them were chosen because of their effort, listening and confidence in the activities.

We are proud to represent STA as a Swim Star Swim School, and we have three gold medals, certificates and Water Safety activity booklets to give to the three ⭐Swim Stars⭐ who impress us the most this week..

⭐ APRIL'S SWIMMER OF THE MONTH⭐

Rudham's Swimmer of the Month 🏆

Bella - She has recently joined Karly's Swim Stars and in the space of a few weeks has gone from not wanting to get into the water to loving her swimming, desperate to get in the pool. She gives her everything, tries her best and has even started to jump into the pool 💥

Dereham's Swimmers of the Month 🏆

Finley - He has come on with so much in confidence in the little time he has been swimming with us, going from being scared of even getting in to achieving his 5 metres distance award🥇

Declan - He approaches everything with a positive attitude, even if he is hesitant to try and has just achieved his 10 metres distance award🥇

Polly - Her confidence in the water has increased so much from when she started. She would not put her face in or let the teacher let go of her. Now Polly swims with a noodle by herself and will happily swim underwater through the hoop 👏

So incredibly proud of the lovely Sarah, another grade passed 🥰

Sarah reached out to us as a very nervous non swimmer due to having a traumatic experience in the water as a child & wanted to finally fight that fear. Well she has definitely done that!!!

Sarah wanted to feel confident in the water and just learn breaststroke, so she was able to enjoy the pool when on holidays.

Karly of course had other ideas.. 😉
Sarah is no longer a non swimmer or frightened of the water. In fact, she loves submerging now, collecting those sinkers, along with jumping in water 2m deep, treading water, floating & swimming 25m breaststroke, backstroke & front crawl with her face in the water.. Absolutely amazing!! 🙌🏻

Sarah has come such a long way in such a short space of time, she is an inspiration to many ❤️
