Like most people I grew up not knowing anything about health, fitness and calories in food. I was over weight and even though I enjoyed exercise I hated what I saw in the mirror. Finally, I decided to be consistent with training and address what I was eating. I've tried all the fad diets and the best results come from the easiest method, calories in / calories out and consistency. No foods are of

f limits, it's about finding the right balance, enjoying what you like, making exercise work for you and building new habits.

Eat this, lift that

But don’t eat before 12pm

But do train with heavy partials

Eat only whole foods

Avoid carbs

Interval cardio sessions

Have you had your supplements?

Health in 2025 is a fu*king minefield, it’s overwhelming and confusing, you end up flip flopping between diets and training plans ultimately going no where.

I coach people the way I needed to be coached when I started. Remove the fluff, keep it simple, keep people focussed, keep them supported …. Get life long results.

The goal was simple....not skinny, just focussed and with her own plan.

From going to the gym with her partner, following someone else's plan to having a system designed for her, tweaks when she needed them and goals that she can focus on....the result speak for themselves.

Way more confident in and out the gym, loving weekends out and eating guilt free...and getting strong AF!!!

this was the goal....not....skinny

Why bother with check ins?

because it gives me and YOU time to sit down and reflect on how the week has gone. I can also look at all the data needed to make tweaks and changes that will get more results for you...which is the goal

We've worked on training intensity, so looking at the reps going down makes me happy...why? because the goal range is 10-12

So 50KG at 12 means the last rep was hit at failure, hence the next set 12 wasn't hit again, 10 was, which means fatigue is taking place because of intensity. Now for the last set most would have dropped the weight, but we've worked on pushing limits so 50kg was attempted again and 9 was hit. I'm more than happy with this as the intensity was there without maxing out at 1-3 reps...basically being too heavy.

Good form, hit RPE and reps = Results

Doing it alone isn't working so why will this time change?

Do you need a coach - No

Can you achieve results on your own - Yes

Are you achieving the results you want and learning what to do.....if the answer is no then coaching will help.

these results were achieved over a very short period of time by following a plan, without even excessive exercise.

more movement, controlled food and social occasions managed.

This was 9 years ago when I'd just started (hence skinny arms)

Whilst i'm far (very far) from a greek god now, the results i've gotten since then this guy would have killed for.

Just being able to eat guilt free, enjoy training and feel fit 9 years later was all I ever wanted.

Sometimes I forget that and compare myself to others, younger, with different priorities and I lose sight of where i've come from.

Its easily done

Appreciate where you have been and if you're still finding your way, appreciate that you're still trying.

Both these looks are a choice....Right or straight ahead.....

Other than that the 3-4 stone difference is also a choice

eating like a di****ad, binge, restrict, exercise like a maniac....and repeat

or

Consistent movement, food control, intense and enjoyable training i can scale.

i'm not going to pretend the image on the right is maintainable for me, its not.

But there is a version that is thats a damn closer than the left image, I don't recognise him anymore.

My dad has an incredible work ethic, I like to think thats where I got it from.

6 Days a week hard graft

Safe to say when he got home he was shattered, usually after i was in bed.

I appreciated everything he did and fully understood why he was too tired to do the physical stuff with me like football etc.

It also wasn't the culture back then, the gym wasn't a thing.

I have no excuse, it is the culture, i don't have a physical job and its my responsibility to be as fit and active for as long as i can.

taking the lessons i've learnt from him and making it work for me.....so i can still beat my kids at football....thats the dream 😆

16-41 has been an ever changing journey

1. - 16 - working in a design office, massively overweight with terrible eating habits (full disclosure cameras weren’t big back then so take this AI representation of how it might have looked)

2 - started trying to make changes, hired a PT and tried to be consistent with the gym

3 - small changes but it was more through grinding out workouts than understanding how and why I was able to change how I looked and felt. This had a shelf life and I wasn’t happy

4 - understanding what works and what I need to do to get big results. Learning every day and finding the right lifestyle for me

5 / 6 - ripping out the garage to launch in person coaching to help people who felt the same as me. Using my experiences to guide them

7 - taking my fitness and changes to the next level, not sustainable but I wanted to see what I was capable of

8 - coaching was now my job, standing infront of a room full of people working hard, committed to change and being the one to help guide their journey was an honour

9 - Doing what I love, I get to coach people online, supporting and educate them with the tools I once needed, alongside running a media business helping fit-pros and business owners showcase their talents and services.

I didn’t think this was where life would lead me back at 16 as an AI generated boy, but I’m very happy it did.

Your journey isn’t A-B, embrace challenges, manage changes and make sure whatever you’re doing it makes YOU happy! ✌️

Throwback to lockdown workouts and weights filled with sand….

Remember how mad everyone got that they couldn’t leave the house to walk for as long as they wanted…

Or when gyms closed, people were outraged they couldn’t train….

That was years ago, all those restrictions are gone

You’re free to walk, run, train whenever you want….but you still don’t….

Maybe worth thinking about why that is.

I’ve been selling myself short

The last few months have been a bit upside down, my gym closed and I’ve launched a new business to run alongside coaching.

So what do you think suffered…that’s right…me

My training was half hearted, fitting it in as and when, no structure and just lifting when I had time.

All the things I tell everyone not to do.

The reason I’m highlighting this is it’s very easy to get into this position especially when circumstances change.

It’s ok for your focus to get taken away for a period of time but it can’t continue to be this way

So for the last few weeks I’m back into a new routine that suits both businesses.

Training to a plan again and making progress. This now works with my lifestyle not something I have to fit it.

Is your health, fitness a priority or an after thought?
