Would just like to congratulate for reaching the school boy semi finals yesterday in Newcastle in what was his first championships 🥊 Against a very experienced lad who had over 50 contests 4 times more then lukey .
He fell short in a very tight contest losing on a 3-2 split that we felt should have gone our way but it’s all learning and lukey will definitely be there in the future congratulations to his opponent who went onto winning 🏅 the school boys 👏 Huge well done to lukey forever proud for all your hard work and dedication 💙and thank you to all the coaches at .abc for there time and efforts . Your time will come lukey 🥊 andy

Where do we start what a weekend of championship boxing 🥊

Huge congratulations to our own grown
Rosie Smith on becoming a national champion and winning 🥇 gold
now No1 in the country at 46-48kg
with a perfect record 👏👏 aka Rhino
Credit to both her opponents this weekend
Both very competitive bouts.
Always hard to see a runner up as theses kids train so hard and give so much to be at this level keep working hard and listening to your coaches and your time will come.

you are a credit to me and all the coaches and your team mates at Darley Boxing Club so hard working in and out the gym you always listen to the right people and always apply what your coaches ask of you .

I truly believe this is only the start for you Rosie
Keep pushing and keep believing girl ❤️
We will always give you all we can to help you achieve your dreams.

For Darley boxing club this is our
1st national champion 10 years in the making
Of our club with numerous finals, semifinals and quarter-finals always falling short
So today is extra special day for me as i truly believe many more will be soon following in Rosie’s footsteps as the platform is made proud of you girl .

Personally this is why i become a coach to give kids the chance to live there dreams and make something of themselves.

Huge congratulations to our own grown
Rosie Smith on becoming a national champion and winning 🥇 gold
