A ballerinaā€™s dance looks light and effortless, but in reality, truly correct movement requires allāš ļø these tiny nuances. Itā€™s about the precise position of every part of the body, the tension and stretch placed exactly in the right spot and direction ā€” like mathematics.

With regular practice, we develop muscle memory, and our body starts doing it all automatically, without our conscious attention to every detail. Thatā€™s when it truly becomes easy! Interestingly, with proper technique, if you pause a video of yourself at any moment ā€” the position will look perfect. But it takes time, persistence, consistency, and strength of character. Itā€™s a marathon.

And the bonus? Your body moves with natural grace even in everyday lifešŸ˜ŽšŸ˜‰ dance

No! We donā€™t just learn dances. We study different ballet styles and practise centre work, allegro and pointe exercises in the format of learning choreography and rehearsing real ballet pieces. I also include some movements from ballets which we currently learn to the barre exercise, so everyone has a chance to try them with support.

One of the main rules is this practice: we learn the entire dance pattern! It doesnā€™t matter where you stand in the dance today or how many people there are ā€” because tomorrow you might be in a completely different spot. This class format magically turns exercises into a real ballet and live performancesšŸ˜ŽšŸ¤˜šŸ©°šŸ”„
It helps develop spatial thinking, memory, develop mental flexibility. And besides, itā€™s great fun!
