Anybody that knows me will understand how hard it is for me to write this but after 24 years I’ve decided it’s the right time to finally hang my boots up. I’ve had the privilege of playing in some great teams with amazing teammates who are now friends for life. I’ve experienced both highs and lows as a player and wouldn’t change it for the world. After losing my dad at such a young age I’d firstly like to thank my mum/ sister who throughout my early years single handedly helped make my dream come true,my amazing wife and family who have moved all over the country with me to support my every move. Thanks to all the managers I’ve worked with and shown faith in me even the ones I never saw eye to eye with. In my eyes I’ve never lost I’ve either won or learnt. I’d also like to thank all the fans who have supported me over the years wherever I’ve been, you’ve all been amazing. I would like to thank everybody at Guisborough Town Football Club and wish them the best of luck this season and in the future and I always said as a young lad that I would like to end my career playing for my hometown club. It’s fair to say I’ve lived the dream. Now it’s time to payback the family and spend some quality time with them on a weekend and who knows what’s next for me but it’s been a blast ❤️⚽️
