Spring is nearly here, which means it’s renovation time!

Our greens have been double verti-cut, mown, hollow cored with the ProCore, top dressed with 2 tonnes of sand per green, deeper aeration with a verti-drain, then rolled and brushed-in to finish.

A granular feed will be applied when we next have rain forecast, then hopefully the sun keeps shining to aid a speedy recovery.

The 16th tee has been laser levelled and re-turfed with a premium quality Rye and Fescue blend from , ahead of season.

Despite the weather not playing ball recently, our greenkeeping team have pressed on - making improvements across the course, including drainage work, tree maintenance, pathways and other areas re-turfed.

Some exciting projects are in store for later on in the year too, stay tuned!

From today, the evenings stretch a little longer - that means more time on the fairways as the sun now sets after 5pm all the way through to October.

With brighter days ahead and milder temperatures on the way, golfing season is right around the corner!
