Congratulations to our 2s who have finished the season as winners of the East Midlands Womens Cricket League Division 2 North East for the first time 💪👏

A brilliant season from the team and some fantastic contributions across the board from all involved.

We are incredibly proud of everyone! Division 1 here we come 💪🏏

The 2s welcome Caythorpe to Spondon Cricket Club. Kady captains the side as they look to continue their unbeaten season so far!

Our softball team have had a great first season joining the EMWCL!

They finished the season mid table in 4th place 👏

They also had a cup run, making it to the 3rd round of the knockout cup 💪

Top run scorer this year was Samantha with 136 runs, followed by Jo with 118!

Samantha was our top wicket taker aswell with 8 wickets, followed by captain Gemma with 7!

This team keeps going from strength to strength and it’s amazing to see 🫶

Our 1st and 2nd XI teams have had a brilliant season so far, so we thought it was time to check in on our highest wicket takers so far for both teams 🏏

Lauren has had a brilliant season with the ball so far putting her out in front in the 1s, followed by Hannah who has been a fantastic addition to our bowling attack this summer!

Captain Kady is leading from the front at top of the list for the 2s, with Louise sat in 2nd!

So many brilliant performances so far this season and still plenty to come before the season ends 💪🏏

Alicia out in front in the 1s, closely followed by Harriet!

Izzy’s 81* at the weekend send her to the top of the list for the 2s, with Grace sat in 2nd!

So many brilliant performances so far this season and still plenty to come before the season ends 💪🏏
