🩰 Tutu Tuesday 🩰

Our new week and new academic year has brought lots of new faces to Dynamicmotif… but one very special face on Ballet Saturday isn’t new at all! 🖤

Miss Jackie is delighted to welcome Miss Phoebe to the Ballet Saturday teaching team.

Phoebe joined Dynamicmotif at Risley in 2014 as one of our very first Butterfly Ballerinas. 🦋

Fast forward 12 years, and that little Butterfly Ballerina has grown into an Intermediate dancer and fully qualified Teaching Assistant, achieving her IDTA Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma with Distinction.

But Saturday brought an extra-special moment…

Miss Jackie shared Phoebe’s very first photograph of them together, taken when she taught her at a Toddler Dance Class, before the days of Dynamicmotif.

So, they recreated the pose! 🥹

Once, Miss Jackie was kneeling beside a tiny Phoebe.

Now, Miss Phoebe is kneeling beside Miss Jackie. 🤩

And that photograph captures everything Dynamicmotif is about: raising aspirations, nurturing young dancers and watching them grow into incredible role models who can inspire future generations.

From little Butterfly Ballerina… to Intermediate dancer… to Teaching Assistant… to role model.

And just like that… we’re back! 💫

A brand-new week, a brand-new term and the beginning of another exciting year at Dynamicmotif Dance & Performing Arts Academy! ✨

Tonight, Miss Danielle and Miss Lauren cannot wait to welcome our wonderful existing pupils back through the doors, alongside lots of new pupils joining us to try a class for the very first time at our Ockbrook and Borrowash branches.

There’s so much to look forward to this evening, with an exciting array of classes including Tap, Street Dance, Singing, our brand-new Theatre Company, Senior Commercial & Heels and so much more! 🎭🎤🕺💃🏼🧑‍🩰🖤

We’re also delighted to welcome back our incredible Dynamicmotif Dance Company dancers as they begin another year of training, creativity, performance and ambition. 🌟

A new term is always a chance to start afresh.
To set yourself a new goal.
To challenge yourself.
To try something you’ve never done before.
And, most importantly, to believe in what you are capable of. 💫

🩰✨ Ballet Saturday is back! ✨🩰

Today marks our very first Ballet Saturday of the new 2026–27 academic year, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our wonderful ballet families back to the studio!

Miss Phoebe and Miss Jackie will be at our Ockbrook branch, while Miss Phoebe and Miss Lucy are ready to welcome our dancers at Risley — and we simply cannot wait to get dancing again! 🖤

Today is extra special as we welcome lots of new pupils who are taking their very first steps into the wonderful world of ballet. Whether you’re completely new to ballet or returning for another year of learning, growing and dancing, we’re so excited to have you with us.

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of a new dance year beginning — fresh ballet shoes, familiar faces, new friendships, new goals and so many opportunities to discover just how much you can achieve. 🌟

So, Ockbrook and Risley… let’s get those ballet shoes on and make this a year to remember! 🩰✨

✨ Photo Holiday Challenge – our teachers are joining in! ✨

Today we’re sharing some gorgeous summer holiday photos from our wonderful Ballet Saturday teaching assistants, Miss Phoebe and Miss Lucy! 💕☀️

Although these photos aren’t entries into this year’s competition, both Miss Phoebe and Miss Lucy wanted to get involved, show their support for all of our pupils taking part, and share a little glimpse of their own summer adventures. 🌴📸

Our Ballet Saturday team are incredibly passionate about supporting and inspiring the next generation of dancers, and we love that they’ve got on board with the challenge too! 🩰✨

Both Miss Phoebe and Miss Lucy are fully qualified with Level 3 Diplomas in Dance Teaching in Ballet. Miss Lucy is qualified with the British Ballet Organisation (BBO), while Miss Phoebe is qualified with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). We’re so lucky to have their knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication as part of the Dynamicmotif family! 🖤

✨ Photo Holiday Challenge — four more fabulous entries! 📸✨

We’re back with four more fantastic photographs from our Dynamicmotif pupils, and we absolutely love seeing the creativity, personality and imagination coming through in every single entry! 💫

What makes this challenge extra special is seeing pupils from right across Dynamicmotif taking part — from some of our youngest little stars, through to our juniors and right up to our seniors. 🧑‍🩰It really is wonderful to see such a fantastic representation of our whole Dynamicmotif family! 🖤
