Saturday didn’t last long for Richard and Sam Neary in racing terms as the car was ‘hoofed off’ following a collision that occurred behind them. Although the car was fit to drive, having received an outside sn**ch from the gravel, which in the rules isn’t allowed we weren’t allowed to continue. Having been deemed the wrong decision, the Team is hoping for a better day today. Race two in the Motor Racing Legends GT3 Legends race is at 2.40 at the BRDC Silverstone Classic. At last, the perfect result from Spa 🏆! P1 in the first of two GT3 Legends races this weekend at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. Congratulations to Richard and Sam Neary who drove a faultless race in extreme heat 🥵. Great result team 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Unfortunately due to major tyre degradation from the heat and as we are unable to source a solution, we will not take part in tomorrow’s second race. But we leave on a high and no doubt will be back again! 😁. Thanks MRL for a great event and Ed Curtis for photos 📸

Richard and Sam Neary are back together racing today and tomorrow in the GT3 Legends at Spa-Francorchamps supporting the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

After Sam was quickest yesterday in free practice, Richard today secured P5 for the start. Race 1 is at 14:00 local, 13:00 UK, today and it’s live here:

Yesterday turned out well with a P2 finish for Richard Neary in Motor Racing Legends’ GT3 Legends at Donington Park. Not a bad start for its first outing under the Team Abba Racing Banner. Different day today with rain forecast and some tweaks to the car completed. The 50 minute race is at 3.20pm this afternoon Motor Racing Legends Mercedes-AMG Motorsport

And now for something completely different, racing in his Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 Richard Neary will complete solo in the Motor Racing Legends Donington Historic Festival. Racing in its original livery (blue and silver) Richard has qualified 8th for the 30 car line up. The first race is at 10.50 and tomorrow’s race at 3.15pm.
