Yesterday we had an absolutely fantastic day competing at the AMA National Karate Championships in Bury Manchester.

​The determination, effort, and spirit shown by every competitor representing South Derbyshire Karate Academy (as part of the AMA National squad) was next-level.

Excellent work last night by our members at our kumite competition classes at Santino's Gym and Studio.

Hard cardio based drills mixed with slower technical based skill development.

Great to see our experienced competitors helping the younger team members.
