A.M Sports Specialists in Primary Physical Education and Fitness Training A.M. Sports Coaching is an east midlands based company covering Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.

Established in January 2010 we provide range of sporting services to enhance the provision of PE, School sport and community activity. We offer various sports clubs, PPA cover, curriculum support and School Holiday Sports Clubs. We strive to help children improve at sporting activities no matter what the sport. This can take the form of simple exercise programmes or sport specific development. To

develop the child’s skills from an early age, help them adapt to new challenges and give them a head start for the future. Sport, for some is a way of life, while for others it is primarily a source of enjoyment, but whatever the approach, it brings to the child a development in social skills whether as an individual or as a team player learning skills which will grow and grow and remain with them through life. The aim is to provide children from the ages of 4-11 with a consistently high level of quality coaching for them to gain enjoyment, have fun and learn along the way. This takes the form of getting them interested in exercise and sport and look forward in taking it into the realms of an extra-curricular activity and to involve them in sport both in and outside of school. We pride ourselves in providing highly skilled coaches, recognizing that they are the people who directly influence the development of individuals by creating a positive culture in which coaches and children work together in a team environment.

Keeping up traditions ⚽️

We’ve been running the St Werburgh’s Primary School football team for 13 years now, and a few years ago we started a tradition that we’re proud to continue.

At the first squad training session of each new school year, we invite the previous year’s captain back to hand over the captain’s armband to the new captain.

It’s a great way to recognise the role they played, celebrate their achievements, and officially welcome the next captain into the role.

This year was no different… ⚽️👏

Our Summer Holiday Clubs came to an end on Friday 28th August, and what an incredible five weeks we’ve had! 😅

Here’s what Summer 2026 looked like at AM Sports:

This summer, we also introduced extended hours for the very first time. Seeing how much this has supported working parents has been fantastic, and we will certainly be looking at continuing this moving forward.

Finally, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every member of our team who has played a part in making this summer such a success. From our coaches and club leaders to our kitchen team and everyone working behind the scenes, it really is a massive team effort. ❤️
