Wishing Jeff, Jacob and Glenn strong shooting this coming weekend. The trio are venturing North to Derwent Bowmen Archery Club representing DAC at the Derbyshire County outdoor Championship. To add more intrigue we hear Glenn will be leaving his recurve bow at home and is moonlighting in the barebow category.

Due to a yellow weather warning of thunder storms forecasted, archery sessions will be cancelled for today, Wednesday 26 August.

Hosted sessions will return to Kedleston Hall next Wednesday 2 September.

We apologise for any disappointment caused.

We're all wishing Glenn the best of luck heading to the Run Archery series final at Harlequin Archers this weekend. Glenn is currently sitting third in the national rankings but with double points on offer at the final its all to play for still.

On 23rd June, we welcomed back 25 members of the StandTo Veteran Community for another great day of instruction, guidance and competition. So good to see familiar faces returning, and the group were on top form from the moment they arrived.

The sun cranked things up again too — another proper scorcher, sunscreen and shade breaks all round! Despite the heat, spirits stayed high, and it was brilliant to see how much everyone's progressed since their last visit.

Congratulations to member Glenn on another great performance at the latest Run Archery national series event. Double silvers in the sprint and 4k, though actually a very nice looking wooden medal this time.
