THROWBACK THURSDAY!

2 years ago today and Jodi is now at Stella Mann College of performing arts studying her degree and Libbie is now a qualified NATD ballet teacher and has also secured her first teaching job in primary education. Whoop whoop! So proud of the journey’s our dancer’s go on and we will always be there for them 💜💜💜

✨BOYS FREE STREET DANCE CLASSES
After the fantastic documentary from Gareth Southgate about changing the game for young men. It got us thinking about how UC Dance can support hobbies for our local boys.

So, we are offering a 4 week FREE dance programme with our dance tutor Thomas to build skills and confidence in street dance.

From Age 5-10years
Thursday 5pm
Starting Thursday 30th July for 4 sessions.
You can attend all 4 sessions or just 1!

At our Burton High Street studio.

🌟SUMMER CLASSES ARE GO🌟
I am so excited to share our new look schedules and training for this summer. The biggest changes since COVID with our
Academy
Company
College
It has taken some time to shape and develop, so excited for our future 💜💜💜

🌟Academy classes
Weekday non exam based classes to build confidence, have fun, technique and skills. All classes will be age based and easy to choose for the class of your choice. Our color coded timetable will make it easy to select your classes.

Weekend classes will be for those dancers who want to build confidence in their dancing, but also want to follow an exam based syllabus. Exams are a great way to celebrate achievement and support training through to an advanced level. These classes will easy to identify by exam grade.

🌟UC Dance Co.
UC Dance Company is our competition
and performance team. Dancer’s can compete at a local level or at national and international level from novice to Advanced.
UC Dance Co dancer’s study a minimum of
ballet, modern & tap and will also take a weekly stretch , flex & conditioning class as well as a kicks turns and leaps class, a team class and once a month workshop class with industry professional. Private lessons are provided to support 1-1 technical development & choreo. Membership is by invite only to the company, once you have studied Academy classes for at least six months.

🌟UC Dance College is our teacher
training programmes for student
teacher’s and teaching qualifications.
This includes all genres and classes run during the weekly schedule or can be booked privately. All aspects of theoretical training are covered as well as practical training. With experienced staff in both industry, teaching and the education sector we ensure training in relevant and up to date.

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!
I have had some fantastic feedback regarding the show and am incredibly grateful to everyone who has reached out ✨✨
But this brought a tear to my eye.
Oscar has been with UC Dance since he was 4 years old. He is a stunning dancer. Always remained focused and humble. Always amazing to teach and to work with. Takes every correction on board and listens to every word. I am so grateful to have Oscar as a dancer at UCD. I am so lucky to watch him grow into an AMAZING young man.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support UCDance and made our performance so special. Your energy, encouragement, and applause meant the world to us.
We're so proud of every dancer, choreographer, student helper , and volunteer who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the show to life. Months of dedication, creativity, and hard work were poured into every routine, and we're grateful to have shared it with such an amazing audience.
Thank you for celebrating dance with us and helping create memories we'll never forget. We can't wait to see you again at our next event!

Thank you to my AMAZING TEAM! We haven’t got everyone in this photo as not all staff could make the show. But, I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have this fabulous group of people supporting me. UC Dance is very lucky to have such a FANTASTIC group of staff supporting and nurturing every dancer’s journey, 💜💜💜💜

There will be lots more show posts. But without my team none of this would happen.

Day 4 of show rehearsals complete and costumes are on and looking good! Love our 3 Little Women here. Liza, Scarlett and Amber loving their dresses and if you could have seen them in the studio showing me their bloomers. Always a great giggle 🙊
