No journaling, meditation, ice bath, or sunrise run followed by a perfectly crafted breakfast while I regulate myself.

Just me, a coffee and a laptop…

Again 😬

And this morning, trying to be particularly quiet because Lindsay is on nights at the hospital and was still in bed.

Real life, basically…

And not all that fakeness that social media will try to sell you.

This is actually one of the most important mornings of my coaching week.

I’m going through client check-ins, writing their weekly debriefs and building out their strategies for the week ahead.

Those strategies matter more than ever currently.

The dark mornings are creeping in, so are the nights, and it’s getting colder.

Social calendars will start getting busier.

Christmas isn’t that far away (Sorry!)

And historically, this is where people’s routines can start quietly slipping away.

So we’re getting ahead of it.

I’m already working with my clients on how we navigate the back end of the year…

Not just protecting the progress the’ve already made, but continuing to move forwards where appropriate.

Because I don’t believe September should be the point where we shrug our shoulders and wait for January.

Interestingly, we often have more people wanting to join PHF around this time of year.

They’ve realised the year has disappeared quicker than expected.

Christmas is approaching.

And they don’t want to spend another three months going backwards before trying to undo it all in January.

That’s exactly why we’ve opening our doors this month.

We’re going to coach people through the difficult bit.

No ice bath at 5am required 🫠

Our doors for private 1-1 nutrition coaching are open until Friday 11th September.

If you’re ready to see what we can achieve together before Christmas, drop me a DM and I’ll send you the details.

Oh, and I’ve invested in some blue-light glasses.

No idea whether they’re doing anything useful…

But do they at least make me look more intelligent? šŸ¤“

This isn’t group coaching.

And that distinction is important.

There are plenty of programmes out there where you sign up, grab a login for a portal, watch some pre-recorded videos, get a set of macros, and wave hello on a weekly group call.

But that is not what we do here at PHF.

When someone comes here, they aren’t becoming member number 387.

They become my client.

And there’s a massive difference.

Behind the scenes, I am in the trenches with my clients every single day.

I know when work has gone mental.

When they have a meal out on Saturday.

When their weight has unexpectedly jumped.

And I know when they are struggling.

More importantly, I can actually do something about it in real time.

Private message centres.

Daily communication.

Morning updates.

Real-time adjustments.

We aren’t waiting for a generic weekly group call to discover someone has been quietly struggling since Tuesday.

That is why I strictly cap the number of people we work with.

You cannot deliver this level of personal coaching at scale.

Do we have a community?

Absolutely.

In a couple of weeks, we are all getting together for our PHF Coffee Morning.

Clients, good food, great coffee, and probably far too much banter being aimed at me to be fair 🫠

But the community surrounds the coaching.

It doesn’t replace it.

Every single person is still being coached privately behind the scenes.

That is what I wanted PHF to be.

Not a library of videos or a faceless automated app.

A genuine private consultancy.

High-touch, deeply individualised, and kept small enough that I actually know the human being I am working with.

If you are trusting me with your nutrition…

You deserve a lot more than a login and a group call.

Our doors are open until the 11th of September.

If you are interested in joining our unique little movement…

DM me the word ā€œchatā€ and I’ll send you some more information šŸ™‚

This is what real fat loss looks like.

Not the polished highlight reel or the perfectly lit transformation photo.

And not some social media coach pretending they changed their client’s life through some ropey arsed 8-week shred plan šŸ‘€

It’s this…

A client buying a T-sh*t in a size she honestly didn’t think would fit yet.

Trying it on.

And realising it already does.

It might sound like a small thing on paper.

But when you work closely with real people every single day, you know just how massive these moments actually are.

People don’t come to PHF when everything is sunshine and roses.

They come because something has to change.

Maybe they’ve stopped feeling comfortable in their clothes.

Maybe their confidence has taken a proper knock.

Or maybe they’ve tried and failed so many times that they are just sick of ending up back at square one.

That is why those smaller milestones matter.

This particular client has lost over 10kg so far.

She’s done it while managing a demanding job, life commitments, stressful days, and all the madness the real world throws her way.

She is grafting away, and she’s doing brilliantly.

Client privacy is sacred around here, so progress pictures stay strictly private.

But the shift in her body shape from day one to right now is night and day.

Even she can’t believe it.

That is why a simple T-shirt fit means so much.

These are the wins we see behind the scenes at PHF.

Real people, real lives, real struggles.

And results being quietly built in the trenches while nobody on Instagram is watching.

That is the only social proof I care about.

No manufactured perfection.

Just helping someone get their life back and moving in a direction they can genuinely be proud of.

My doors are currently open for private 1-1 nutrition coaching until 11th September.

If you want to do this properly and see what we can achieve together before Christmas…

Drop me a message and I’ll send you some more info šŸ™‚

Many people can lose weight.

You’ve probably been there before.

Maybe several times.

You diet, you lose the weight, then the diet finishes, normal life returns.

And eventually, so does the weight.

Then you blame yourself and start looking for the next plan.

But what if the problem was never your ability to lose weight?

What if the problem was that nobody ever taught you how to keep it off?

And I mean properly keep it off.

This is my biggest issue with the endless 8-week diet plans, shreds, challenges and restrictive fat loss plans.

They give you something to follow.

You white-knuckle it for a few weeks and get a painful result.

Then when it’s all over, you’re dumped outside of the coaching circle and forgotten about.

Brilliant…

Now what?

The end of a fat-loss phase is one of the most important parts of the entire process.

Because that’s where many people start to go backwards.

At PHF, we don’t just get somebody a result and wave goodbye…

Throughout the process, we teach them what happens next, align their nutrition around their new body weight and requirements, and teach them how to sustain it moving forward.

We explain why their scale weight will still fluctuate through changes in water, glycogen, food volume, stress and other factors…

Without automatically meaning they’ve regained body fat.

But most importantly, we teach them why their fat loss happened in the first place.

They understand the levers, understand their body, and they have frameworks for keeping their result while still living their life.

Losing weight is one skill, sustaining it is another.

And if nobody teaches you the second, you’ll be back on the diet cycle before you know it.

If you’re sick of repeatedly losing weight and want to do things differently this time…

September spaces to work with me are now open inside the consultancy until Friday the 11th.

Drop me a DM if you want a chat about it and I’ll be in touch šŸ™‚

September is nearly here.

And from experience, this is where things can start getting difficult.

The nights get darker.

The weather turns.

Motivation starts to disappear.

Then Christmas arrives and suddenly…

ā€œI’ll start again in Januaryā€

But not here.

Every year at PHF, we work incredibly hard with our clients through this period.

Some continue losing fat.

Others intentionally move towards sustaining their progress when life gets busier.

But the goal stays the same…

Nobody disappears.

This year, we’re taking that to another level.

In September, we’re launching the PHF Winter Armour Project.

I’ve built this specifically for what I think is one of the hardest periods of the year for people trying to manage their weight.

September through December.

Four months where we’ll be doubling down on structure, accountability, weekends, social situations, routines and everything else that normally starts pulling people away from their goals.

Not through stupid restriction.

And definitely not by telling people they can’t enjoy Christmas.

We’re going to coach people through real life.

So instead of arriving in January desperately trying to undo the previous few months…

They arrive already moving forwards.

I have private coaching spaces opening in September.

We strictly cap numbers at PHF because if you work with me, you’re working with me personally.

And I refuse to dilute that level of support by endlessly adding more people.

So if you’ve been thinking about sorting your fat loss out before Christmas…

This is the time to pull the trigger.

Come into PHF as we start the Winter Armour Project and let’s see what we can achieve between now and January.

Drop me a message if you want to talk about September spaces 🫔

I went to Currys this week to buy a new camera.

I’d already done the Googling.

I’d read the specs.

But I didn’t understand half of it.

That’s why I went to the shop.

I wanted someone who actually knew what they were talking about.

Instead, the member of staff pulled out an iPad, searched for the camera, and basically read back to me the exact same information I’d already found at home.

When I asked about the features, they replied… ā€œI’m not sureā€

And I remember thinking…

What’s the point of me being here?

Maybe I’m showing my age, but years ago, you went to places like Currys because somebody there really knew their stuff.

They were nerds about it, they understood the products, they cared.

And they could tell you what was actually right for you.

And that’s when the comparison hit me…

Nutrition coaching has started going the same way.

It gets bolted onto services by PTs whose real specialism is training.

They do a short course, give someone some calorie and macros, maybe throw in a meal plan…

Job done.

Except nutrition deserves far more depth than that.

And when fat loss is the goal, nutrition shouldn’t be some little add on…

It’s one of the main levers driving results.

Understanding the science is one thing…

Knowing how to apply it around someone’s lifestyle, diet history, and relationship with food?

That’s my specialism.

I’ve spent years studying it, working with real people and obsessing over both sides of the equation.

That’s what I wanted at Currys.

And that’s exactly what we’ve built PHF around.

I suppose I’m the old-school nerd I was hoping to find that day.

Except my subject is nutrition.

I’ve got private coaching spaces opening in September.

No bolted-on nutrition service…

Actual specialist nutrition coaching.

ā€œThe perfect coach lifestyleā€

5am wake up, meditation, journalling, perfect breakfast, sunrise run, and meal prep all lined up for the day.

It looks lovely on Instagram.

There’s just one problem.

It isn’t real life for most people.

The people I coach are getting kids ready for school…

Trying to make a 9am meeting…

Running businesses, working shifts, and looking after families.

Sometimes they barely know what the next hour looks like, never mind their perfectly optimised 12-hour routine.

And I have a big opinion on this.

Because when someone struggling with their weight loss sees this content…

Do they really feel motivated?

Or do they think: ā€œNo wonder I can’t do this, my life looks nothing like thatā€

That’s the bit I think the industry misses.

Because I’m a nutritionist and my nutrition isn’t perfect either.

I eat chocolate, my plans change, my food sometimes gets thrown together, some days are organised, some days aren’t.

And I’m still healthy, in good shape, and able to manage my nutrition.

Because that’s what real life nutrition actually looks like.

Good coaching shouldn’t make you fit the coach’s lifestyle…

It should make the strategy fit yours.

Your work, family, social life, stresses, responsibilities and your starting point.

We can improve things, of course we can…

But we have to start with where you actually are.

That’s what ā€œmeeting people where they’re atā€ actually means.

Not lowering standards or making excuses…

Understanding the person first, then building a realistic framework that moves them forward.

Without it collapsing the second real life happens.

That is very different from ā€œWe’ve all got the same 24 hours in a dayā€

I hate that saying.

Try telling that to someone who has just had an argument with their boss, is late to pick the kids up and still has to figure out what they’re having for tea.

You don’t need to live like an influencer to get an amazing result.

You need a realistic strategy, consistency, and coaching that actually understands you and your life.

You don’t need patronising by some young coach who hasn’t got a clue about real life… (Sorry, I said it) šŸ‘€

I have spaces opening in September to work with me…

If you want some real help this side of Christmas, drop me a message, let’s talk šŸ™‚

6am… this is what my mornings actually look like.

Coffee, laptop, client morning updates, and mapping out their day ahead.

No yoga, no ice bath, no 6am journalling.

And no perfectly arranged breakfast bowl before I casually head off for a sunrise run.

Just coffee and work.

And I’m absolutely fine with that.

Because this is real life.

And that’s exactly what I coach my clients around.

Most people don’t have two hours every morning to optimise their lives.

They’ve got kids to sort, work to get to, meetings, deadlines and stress.

Real life is messy.

And this is where coaching has to be realistic.

I’m not interested in showing my clients some perfect lifestyle and expecting them to replicate it.

I’m interested in understanding their life.

And building their nutrition and fat loss strategy around it.

That’s what I was doing here at 6am.

Reading client feedback…

Spotting problems early…

Adapting strategies where needed…

And actually coaching people.

Not waiting seven days for a check-in form to tell me something went wrong last Tuesday.

You don’t need a perfect life to get an amazing result.

You need a strategy that works inside the life you actually have.

That’s what we do here at PHF.

I have private coaching spaces opening in September for people who want to work with me personally.

If you’re ready to do this properly before Christmas, drop me a message.

I’ll show you how to get the result you want without thinking you have to live some fake Instagram life to get it.

Real coaching for real people only šŸ™‚
