🔥Challenge and Competition below 🔥 Our coach showing a great drill you can use whilst being inside during isolation. The main coaching points from this are trying to keep your bat face pointing towards the target and ensuring your front foot and head are going towards the ball to hit back at the target effectively.

Film your attempt and put it on your story or page tagging and the best 2 videos will be in with a chance of winning so brand new cricket gear!!

Introducing our latest addition to the coaching team 🔥 Ximus is having a great winter training with the 1st team and is looking forward to building into a strong summer.

He has a brilliant record out in South Africa representing Northerns at U19 level, TUKS and has also captained the Titans Cubs side.

He will be helping with the club sessions as well as doing 1-1s throughout the summer 🔥🔥 Great to have you on board mate

Do you put yourself under pressure during your training sessions? 🤔

Bit of banter here between our head coach and behind the camera at their session 🎥 😂

The main aim of this session was a real focus on watching the ball and hitting down the line with an added challenge of speed (120mph Tennis Balls) and 4 Away Swing. It’s a brilliant time to groove technical work during the winter months before the heat of the battle against bowlers in the summer!

Remember... if you train harder that what you get in a game, it will feel much easier when you’re actually out there playing!

Did someone say new coach...? Welcome to 🔥The All Rounder is one of the latest members to join our elite coaching team! He will be taking 1-1 sessions with our clients throughout the winter and into the summer. To celebrate the news, we are giving away a Fynn Hudson Prentice signed cricket ball to anyone who can guess what ground the six on the video was hit at! Competition closes at the end of Feb and the winner will be sent a DM 🏏

What a start it has been to 2020! We have had some amazing sessions with and Codnor Cricket Club. We’ve also made some fantastic improvements to all of our 1-1 clients having sessions with us. We are also in the process of taking on more and more Profesional Cricketers who will coach under us so stay tuned to see who we’re bringing on board to add to our exciting team! Not only this but our new clothing range will be out soon from our sponsors over 🔥

Here’s Head Coach working on some technical bowling drills. He’s focusing on his back foot contact and trying to move off his back foot as quick as he can which will allow him to be more efficient at the crease. January and February are brilliant months to get technical work done before you start to focus on more outcome based sessions

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the 2 newest members of the Purpose Cricket Coaching Team 🔥🔥

Our first new recruit is former Nottinghamshire CCC Fast Bowler, Ben Kitt. Ben signed a 2 year profesional contract with Notts at the end of the 2016 season following a remarkable year taking 100 wickets across all formats in 2nd XI and Academy level cricket. As an ECB Level 2 coach, he has endless levels of enthusiasm for the game and can’t wait to get started with us!

Our second newest recruit is Former Derbyshire and Leicestershire County Women’s cricketer Emily Marriott. As well as playing numerous games for both Derbyshire and Leicestershire, Emily has represented England during 4 world cups at indoor cricket level in which she won the accolade of best U19 batsman of the tournament. She has a keen eye on cricket participation at all levels and as an ECB Level 2 coach she’s keen to transfer her cricketing experiences into her coaching career.

Both Ben and Emily will be joining up with our sessions at Ashbourne CC and Codnor CC as well as numerous sessions throughout the year.
