Good luck to the children heading off to the Derbyshire Under 11 Badminton County trials today🌟🏸

We know you'll do your best, listen well and enjoy meeting the other players and coaches. We are super proud of all the players that turn up each week to our classes and keep working hard to improve 🏸.

If there are any players/children (school years 4, 5 and 6 ) from our sessions that would like to receive more information about future Under 11 trials, please feel free to get in touch to discuss the opportunities.

Exciting Summer Badminton Camps in Derby! Whether your looking for a new activity for your child to try or build on current skills our Summer Badminton Camps cater for all abilities and ages 6-16 years.

🌟Olympian Led Coaching with over 20 years of coaching experience of all ages and abilities
🌟Camps catered to support every child, with ratio of at least 1:8.

BRIGHT STAR SPORTS JUNIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 🏸🥇🏆

This term is our final event of the season and we are looking forward to hosting our annual grassroots tournament. It is junior tournament open to non-county players.

Whether you play at school, within our classes or your own groups of friends and family, everyone is welcome!

Come and give it a go! Start time from 11.30am and later times for the older age groups.

Tournament Ages: Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 groups (girls and boys)

The closing date is Friday 12th June 2026.

Players that have played in our classes and our our holiday camps will have received an email with further information too.

Your child has never played badminton before, no problem, with our experienced coaching team we are here to support all children to have a positive experience trying a new sport 🏸🌟

BRIGHT STAR SPORTS JUNIOR BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2025 / 2026
Date: Saturday 27 June
Time: From 11.30am
Ages: Under 11 , Under 13 and Under 16 age groups

An opportunity for local junior badminton players (non county level) to play in a competition. This will be the final competitive event of the season for BRIGHT STAR SPORTS.

Whether you play at school, with family or in our classes everyone is welcome to attend. The recommendation is Year 4 and above.

Emails have been sent to current players that attend classes with booking form links and further information.
