Great start to the season from the 1st & 2XI,
1st team picking up right where they left off last year with a dominant all-round performance against Alrewas.
2nd team getting a well deserved win with Captain marvellous, Mr Amir leading from the front with sold 79 and ensuring his team got home comfortably.
1st team Dabang skipper, Mr Shahshad Ali, after losing the toss and being put into bat, the skipper’s vision was clear—set the standard early and show exactly what we’re about after last year’s league-winning campaign. 
The highlight with the bat was a brilliant knock from Sarmad Ali, who anchored the innings with a composed 85, striking at 100 with 6 fours and 6 sixes, putting the opposition under pressure from the outset.
In reply, Alrewas CC were outclassed by a disciplined and clinical bowling display, being bowled out for 150 in 35.3 overs. Amarjit Singh was outstanding with the ball, delivering a match-winning spell of 6 wickets for just 30 runs in 8.3 overs, maintaining excellent control and an economy of 3.53 to dismantle their batting lineup. The rest of the bowling unit backed him up superbly, keeping things tight and building pressure throughout.
A complete team performance to secure a convincing 22-point win and a perfect start to the campaign. Special mentions to our standout performers Sarmad Ali and Amarjit Singh for their match-defining contributions.
