🧡 Hilton Harriers 10-1 Pride Park Devs 🧡

A win for our Ladies this afternoon as we played Pride Park Devs at the Mease for our final game of pre season! 👏🏼 🔥

We found ourselves 1-0 down early on, and with a few players playing out of position, it could have been a different afternoon. But the Ladies settled into the game, put the graft in to turn it around and finish with a big scoreline 👏

It was a good workout for the squad as we prepare for the league starting next week, it was exactly what we needed to get the final minutes in our legs as the real work begins next weekend💪🏼

Fair play to Pride Park who kept their heads up the whole game and didn’t give up! We meet them again in a cup tie in a couple of weeks! A lovely team to play 🤝

🎤 Shout out to Ellie, who made her 11-a-side debut today for us (after many years of not playing) and scored fantastic goal 👏⚽

It was also Anoushka’s final game with the Ladies before she heads back to the U18s. She’s been a great asset to our team during pre season! ⭐️ 🤩

🧡Hilton Harriers 2-2 Amber Valley Ladies🧡

A tough test this afternoon for Hilton as we faced fellow Div 1 side in a pre season match to give us a taste of the upcoming season 💥

Hilton were struggling for players due to the holidays so we had four U18s stepping into our squad with a few OGs yet again having to play out of position but we always make it work! 🤝

The U18s were a real asset to our team today, showcasing their talent and getting ready for when they move to open age football! 💪🏼 Amber Valley were a strong side and really tested us at times however Our CB Meadow and GK Inta really put themselves on the line for today’s game and kept us in with a chance with endless tackles, sweeping and super saves! 💥

The score was abit of a frustrating yo-yo 🪀 going 1-0 up, then 1-1, then 2-1 up and then ending up drawing 2-2 but still a really positive result for us! 🧡

We welcome back Becky today who as usual played a fantastic game and bagged our two goals! 👋⚽️ Assists come from Georgie our LB and Inta our GK! 🔗

We have two pre season games left then the graft starts! ✨

⚽️Hilton Harriers 5-1 Ashbourne Ladies⚽️

Another pre season game this afternoon as we welcome back a high spirited Ashbourne to The Mease for a second time this month! 🤜🏻

We had a bit of a make shift team today, having to pull in three U18s players and with various of our other players having to play out of position but we pulled together and managed to get the win! 💥

Massive shout out to the 12 we had today 👇🏼

🫡 Gabs - Once again had to fill in at centre half but put in a captain's display. Led the defence for 90 minutes and struck up a good partnership with the young debutant Anoushka.

🏃🏻‍♀️ Emily - Led the line admirably and always looked dangerous. Took her first goal very well before following it up with a well taken penalty.

💪🏼 Sophie - Followed up her form towards the end of the season with another strong performance. Deserved a goal after causing havoc at times

🧋Walshy - Real leadership role in midfield, helped the younger players settle in, played some great through balls to the attack, capped off a fantastic performance with a great goal

☺️ Fio - Making her debut today for the ladies, grew into the game and held her own against players twice her age, even bagged herself a goal with a strike outside the box midway through second half

💥 Dani - Another great performance, positionally outstanding, never gave their wingers and inch of space, linked well with Suze down the right and made some crunching tackles

🪨 Charlie - Battled well in midfield very strong won a lot of the ball, skipped around midfield to drive the ball forward

🧤 Inta - Swept up well when needed. Strong goal kicks and played out the back linking up with the CBs and Midfield

🍟 Eve - Played in a couple of different positions today. Dominated them both and scored a great goal from outside the box

⭐️ Suze - Up and down the wing, never stopped running and causing hassle, great ball into the box for our first goal!

🔥 Georgie - Grafted at full back, strong in tackles, bullet throw ins and linked up play with the winger

✨ Anoushka - First game for the Ladies playing CB, read the game well and was always in the right place!

🧡 Hilton Ladies 1-3 Stapenhill Ladies 🧡

Our Ladies travelled to Stapenhill on Sunday to play their second pre season friendly! ⚽️ We played against a strong Stapenhill side and unfortunately the result didn’t go our way 🤷🏻‍♀️

Despite the result, it was still a good run around to get us fit for the upcoming season. We played with a heavily rotated side to ensure everyone got minutes on the pitch! 💪🏼

A fantastic start to pre-season for the ladies with a 4–0 win at home to Ashbourne! 🌒 🌙

It was a great opportunity to have a run out and get some minutes in the bag for our players 💪🏼
We’ve had a few new players joining the squad over the past few weeks, who played their first game with us tonight and have slotted nicely into the team! 👏🏼

Some of our OG players also played out of their usual positions tonight, but adapted well and got the job done 🤜🏻 🔥
