🔥 10/10 performance 🔥

What a start to the year!

Primal kicked the doors of 2026 wide open with 10 goals to mark our 10th game of the season.

Brushing off the cobwebs of the Christmas and New Year break, we started the first half taking an early lead and coming in 3-0 up at halftime.

There was a post Christmas feel about the game but we were able to rotate players well giving us lots of options to get control of the game and push into 6th gear in the second half.

🏆 Man Of The Match: Freddie

Despite missing training on Friday due to illness, Freddie bagged himself 4 goals, all whilst looking like he was running at half effort! Fantastic work Freddie, well taken goals and battled well to put is in cruise control.

🏆 Parents Man Of The Match: Daniel

Daniel had a great game and took his goal with a lovely finish. Helping his team manage tiredness and injuries, Daniel ended up playing in 4 different positions across the game, and he was absolutely solid. Well done Daniel 👏

A great result today from the lads, putting distance between us and Allestree in the league.

Onto next week - Ripley away.

⚽️ BACK IN ACTION TOMORROW! ⚽️

⚽️ Comeback....completed it mate ⚽️

Primal walk away with all 3 points after a hard fought win over Allestree.

Despite going down 1-0 inside 3 minutes, we managed to organise ourselves and got into a rhythm.

Jack found himself in a great position in the area after a shot from Mo was palmed down by Allestrees keeper - goal!

1-1 and game on!

Half time came after a game mainly played out with battles in the midfield and a the game evenly balanced.

We came out of the blocks fast in the 2nd half with mazey runs from Seth and Freddie that Allestree couldn't contain.

A shot from Freddie outside the box saw the keeper spill the ball and Bryce was in to mop up and make it 2-1!

A header from an Allestree forwarded saw Joe spring to life in goal and tip the ball around the post with an outstanding save.

A solid performance from the lads and great character to come back from a goal down!

🏆 Man Of The Match: Justin

Another solid performance at centre back from Justin. Calm, organised and cool under pressure, Justin is a key player for us in the spine of the team. Amazing work today 👏

🏅 Parents Player Of The Match: Freddie

Give this lad the ball in the middle of the pitch and watch him go! He goes left, he goes right, turning midfielders and defenders inside out and sitting them down in a heap. Another performance from Freddie that changed the game - well done!

Well done lads!

Primal are back at home today to face Ripley Town F.C, and there’s only one point separating the sides in the table!

Last time out it was a 3–1 defeat in a fiery clash at Ripley - time to set the record straight.

⚽️ 7 to the good! ⚽️

Primal walk away with 3 more points!

After a fast start for us, we were 2-0 up in the blink of an eye. Cai confidently put away a penalty and Freddie's deflected shot sent the keeper the wrong way.

Somehow despite the fast start, we managed to let Elite back into the game by gifting them 2 goals: 2-2, game on!

After some sloppy play we found ourselves going 3-2 down and a real lull in play - a complete switch off and we needed a regroup.

Before halftime we pulled back level with a strike from Dylan and then Freddie pulled a Beckham-esque shot from just passed the halfway line, lobbing the keeper and tucking nicely under the crossbar.

We came into halftime 4-3 up - what a first half!

Second half came around with large parts of possession to us, before a wonder goal down the wing from Daniel saw us pull 5-3 ahead!

Who did it better, Freddie or Daniel? 🤔

We never really looked out of control from there on as Cai poked in his second goal from inside the 18 yard box making it 6-3.

Elite came back with a goal late in the game only for Seth to answer with a well deserved goal, making it 7-4!

Football - what an unpredictable game!

🏆 Man Of The Match - Ayan

Ayan earnt his first start of the season and what a game he had. After working really hard at training, Ayan has really developed as a player. Earning the nickname Ayan-o-dinho, after turning players inside out with twists and turns no one is expecting! Well done Ayan 👏

🏆 Parents Player Of The Match: Seth

The workrate of this lad, absolutely outstanding. A tougher game for Seth, not getting his shots off properly or going wide and over - but he never stopped. Runs into the box, battling and winning the ball back tracking back to win the ball from deep - first class workrate 👏

Well done lads!

⚽️ A difficult one to swallow ⚽️

A 3-1 loss away at Ripley town for the lads which never felt like a game we should have lost.

A tough and physical game from kick off with battling in midfield from both sides. We didn't look like we could get a foothold on the game in the first 10 minutes, but then grew into game.

15 minutes in felt like we were in control of the game with shots narrowly going wide, and a strong defensive line from Ripley keeping us at bay.

A long ball over the top saw Ripley's striker one on one, who slotted it past Joe despite the flow of the game.

More chances going wide and over the bar for us, and bit of ping pong over in our area gave Ripley a chance to make it 2-0.

We came out firing in the first half with strong play down the wings and won a free kick 20 yards out. Dylan stepped up to curl the ball past Ripley's keeper, making it 2-1!

Game on!

The game went into a really intense period with challenges flying and openings from both sides.

Another bit of ping pong saw Ripley make it 3-1 against the run of play again.

We walked away with a few injuries and scrapes but a clear plan on what needs work at training.

🏆 Man Of The Match: Freddie

Freddie got kicked up and down the pitch today, including studs across the face but battled on like a warrior. Peppering their goal with shots and narrowly missing to equalise. Well done Freddie.

🏆 Parents Man Of The Match: Evan

Evan was a real star of the game today. He battled hard in midfield, taking on 2 and 3 players at a time but also bossing his one on one challenges. Well done Evan.

Onto next week against Elite Sports.

⚽️ So close! ⚽️

What a match!

Primal drop out of the Cup after a 3-2 loss to Chesapeake Allstars.

After a fast start, we found ourselves under pressure from a well organised Chesapeake side. Despite waves of attacks, we held our own and battled well, before falling 1-0 behind after a break down the wing.

Despite being 1-0 down we continued battle in what became a fight in the middle if the park for possession.

Joe stepped up once again to pull off an outstanding save from close range, bringing us in at half time still 1-0 down.

A couple of changes saw us run Chesapeake ragged in the early stages of the second half, with Mo taking us level from a well worked corner...

1-1 game on!

Minutes later Keifer laces the ball past thier keeper with a well worked bit of play from Seth on the wing, 2-1 Primal!

(27 minutes to go, not that we were clock watching!)

A flat spell in the game saw Chesapeake break our back line, beat the offside and slot it in to make it 2-2 - now it really is game on!

Much like the early part of the half, Chesapeake capitalise on their 2nd and manage to net a 3rd with 18 minutes to go, 3-2 Chesapeake.

A nervy finish to the game for both sides, with both teams pushing for goals.

We may be out of the Cup, but to take on a team who are 3 divisions higher and take them all the way to wire is nothing short of outstanding.

A bizarre feeling to walk away with a loss but with the lads smiling and happy they gave it their all - really, really proud of all of you!

🏅 Man Of The Match - Harrison: second week in a row Harrison has put in an absolute shift against strong and fast attackers. Harrison was kicked, pulled and thrown up and down the pitch today, but stood strong and gave as good as he got - well done Harrison!

🏅 Parents Man Of The Match - Joe: what a keeper! Safe hands and lightning fast reactions kept us in the game in early parts of the game. Dominant in his 18 yard box, and pulled off text book parrys to keep us in the game.

Well done to all the lads, from the starting 11 and all the subs. You all played a massive part and did yourselves and the club proud.
