🏏 **Match Report | Denver Ladies vs Mundford Ladies – 30th June**
What a game! This match had everything – quality cricket, brave tactics, accuracy, determination and fantastic teamwork from both sides. The only thing missing was a bigger crowd to witness such a brilliant contest!
Denver batted first, posting a very respectable **120 runs**. Knowing Mundford had some strong batting options, it was going to take disciplined bowling, smart captaincy and committed fielding to defend the total.
With Mundford needing **20 runs from the final over**, Denver held their nerve to seal a well-earned victory in a tense finish.

Sarah– Excellent batting and a crucial maiden over at just the right time.
Laura– Valuable runs and dynamic fielding throughout.
Emma– Continues to impress with increasingly accurate bowling, backed up by a solid batting performance.
Michelle– Important runs towards the end of our innings and another accurate bowling spell.
Nikky– Outstanding bowling performance.
Grace– Superb bowling and arguably our most consistent bowler.
Saffron– Played a huge role in restricting Mundfords strongest batters and took some excellent catches.
Lou– A fantastic all-round contribution with the bat, behind the stumps as wicketkeeper, leading brilliantly as captain, and deservedly voted Telling Tails Players’ Player.
A huge thank you to Mundford for a match played in the perfect spirit – competitive, respectful and enjoyable from start to finish.
