A very small fraction of those pictured who I am lucky to be surrounded with day to day.

I don’t think I realise how lucky I am to work with and be surrounded by bunch of strong gorgeous gals.

Celebrating each other on a DAILY BASIS, not just on days like today which is exactly how it should be. Especially when there’s so much comparison, bitchiness and criticism from the outside world.

We need to keep being ourselves, always speak our minds, keep lifting each other up, be louder about our achievements, go for what we really want, and not waste time worrying what anyone thinks of us.

6 months at šŸ’Ÿ

From being a member previously at the gym, I know there’s an energy in this place it’s very hard to find anywhere else!!!

Because everyone is slightly unhinged in the best way 😜
I knew what was needed to be brought to the sessions.
Everyone challenged and leave feeling like their limits have been reached to a point you probably didn’t think was there, and that’s one thing you’ll get from this gym and the people.

The organised chaos of Hyrox & Metcon to a heavy leg day (fave) is the perfect mix of coaching for me šŸ˜
Although i’m getting some serious FOMO watching you all while I expand sideways, i’m looking forward to making the most of the next couple of months in the mad house šŸ“ˆ

Have we all not thrown our scales in the bin yet?

Girls we have GOTTTTT to stop letting this number get in the way. I hear it ALL the time.

ā€˜I want to lose two stone’ 🄸
Why?
Do you know how you’ll feel in yourself when you weigh two stone less or have you just got that out of thin air because it sounds nice?

If you saw the number when I weighed myself you’d be shocked. And for the majority of girls in the fitness industry who it’ll be the same.
But do I feel good in my clothes, perform well, lift heavy, maintain muscle and feel good whilst doing it?
Well it’s debatable tbh but most of the time I would say so šŸ˜ and THIS should be your priority!!!!!

You will always be going round in circles if you listen to a number.
Let it go and focus on building a body you are proud of!

She’s only gone and done it…

Watching Chris complete her first solo hyrox race yesterday was a very proud moment.

You can say what you like about the sport, but what it does take especially on a solo, is a mindset that you’re not giving up and digging in, that’s exactly what this woman has.

From only taking running seriously in the last year or so, the training that has been put in has been relentless, no skipped sessions, and definitely no excuses, and the determination from Chris has been second to none. Fitting it all in where she can to be the best she can be around juggling grandkids and work. Honestly one of the biggest grafters I know.

A true example that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to.

I know how tough she found it, but I also know she’s sat looking for her next race to go for it again, infact we had only just left the NEC when the words came out of her mouth. My kinda woman šŸ˜

Loved every minute of cheering you round and I can’t wait to be there on your next challenge.

Shoutout to our LIVVVVV šŸ’›

One of our OG’s!
but a massive transformation over the past couple of years.
Liv started off doing classes and then we decided to make a real change with an online coaching plan.
We figured out a way to keep her on track being a busy working mum thats still able to reach her fitness and aesthetic goals, aswell as loving a cheeky bev at the weekend! And we boxed it off in 12 weeks!
But It goes so much further than just a diet plan and changing a few habits.

Liv’s mindset and confidence has completely shifted, and aswell as now being an absolute rocket in the gym from staying consistent, she’s also recently ticked off a sub 2 half marathon, and PB’d her last 10k.

There’s more to come in the calendar which is no surprise but one thing will always stay the same with Liv, she’s consistently wanting to do better and will never turn anything down without trying.
An absolute dream to coach and train and definitely deserves the spotlight ⭐

ā€˜I’LL BE HAPPY WHEN I’VE LOST A STONE’

Girls WHY are we still using scale weight as value of happiness?

The amount of times i’ve asked clients what their goals are, and it’s to be a certain number on the scales.
And when I ask why they have this certain figure in their head, they can’t give an answer.
It’s usually, pre kids or when they had a diet of vodka red bulls when they were 21.
You are setting yourself up for a rollercoaster every time you weight yourself and also forgetting the most important thing, how you feel.

Life changes and so will your body and one thing that will always change too ALL the time, is the scales.

I promise you now being a certain weight means F**K ALL unless it’s affecting your health.

I am over on the BMI scale, (that also needs binning) i’m probably heavier than most girls my height but i’m also at my fittest and strongest now than when I was a stone lighter, I couldn’t even run a 10K or lift a fork then, so why would I want to have that physique back because it was lighter?

Start focusing on things like feeling strong, or looking fit, feeling good in your clothes again or building definition.

Your weight doesn’t determine your progress, you’ll never walk around with it written on your head, but how you look and feel will šŸŒøšŸ’˜šŸŒ·

She’s only down the road but clearly made a huge life mistake by deciding she can’t come back to us on the regs anymore…the end of an era šŸ’”

5 YEARS AGO I started training Fran, still remember telling her to slow down every session until she reluctantly listened.
And now she’s absolutely rapid…strong as f**k…fit as a butchers dog…and a solid training partner.
she works to her potential, gives it everything, isn’t scared of a full send (every day) what more could you want!?

And although she has to try and beat everyone including all the males, and me, we’re actually a great match 🤣

Bye Felicia…i’ll be keeping my eye on you and following you into your next training session.

Your Thursday reminder that you don’t have to be good at everything

You just have to start.

Don’t be put off by being s**t!

This comes up in conversations alot, and it’s easy to walk into a gym class and feel put off sometimes because you’re not lifting the weight as the girl next to you, or keeping up with everyone else’s pace.

But nobody walks into a gym and starts training like a professional.
Noone starts running and feels amazing.
We all start everything pretty badly but it doesn’t get shown on social media like the highlight reels.

You might feel stupid for a little while when you start, but that’s the difference between getting better at something or staying in the same place.
We all naturally want to get better and do the best we can at something, but remember it takes TIME and we all start in the same boat.

Being a beginner is never a bad thing!

That reminds me i still haven’t practiced my handstands šŸ™„
