Monday 11/5/26

A massive treat for the boys tonight as Falkirk FC player Kyrell Wilson came along to put our boys through a shooting drill and did a Q & A with them. The boys all had a great time and a huge thanks to Kyrell for taking time out for the boys and donating a signed shirt to the team as well! ⚽️⚪️⚫️

Dunipace 3-3 Dunblane

Big step forward today for the boys as they played their first proper game at 11 a side. We started well with a tidy finish from James putting us 1 up. A great move down the right and cross from Aaran set Leyton up for the 2nd before going in a HT 2-1 after a mistake at the back. Didnt start the 2nd half well and conceded 2 soft goals but to the boys credit they battled back to get the equaliser in what was a very exciting game! Credit to the boys who worked hard and took to the full pitch well!

Garnkirk 2-1 Dunipace

This game was really tight all the way through with our boys coming out on the wrong side of 2-1 game. An unlucky penalty in the first half after a good save from the goalie gave Garnkirk the lead, but an excellent finish from Lukas levelled it up from the corner soon after. Thats the way it stayed until the dying minutes when the home team got the break of the ball in box and finished well. We had 2 good chances at the end to get an equaliser but came up just short. Work rate and effort was again very good, just need the break of the ball to start getting the wins our hard work deserves. ⚪️⚫️

Dunipace 0-5 Boness

Disappointing day today against Boness. A couple of uncharacteristic errors from the GK and a couple of good finishes from the Boness advanced player were the difference today where we lacked a goal threat for most of the game. Loads of effort today from the boys and 2 games this week to look forward to. Mon the pace ⚫️⚪️

Alloa Wasps 2-0 Dunipace FC

The boys started the match in control, however we began to fall a second behind in our decision making which was probably why our chances were limited.

In the second half two goals from a lack of immediate pressure cost us, but there were positives to take as the boys tried to deal with the long balls and attampt to play, whilst Aaron and James combined well to create some opportunities out wide.

Tighter definsivley as we have been working on at some points, whilst lacking pressure at others.

Overall positives to take aswell as some developmsnt points to look towards at training. We go again Monday - Have a great weekend all! 🖤🤍⚽️

Dunipace 1-2 Carbrain

Good solid performance today from the team. Played some nice football in the first half and the effort was there throughout. Couple of mistakes cost us the result today, but we will learn from them in time for the competitive stuff to begin.

Dunipace 1-2 Livingston

Great first half today with a lot of hard work and moving the ball well. Got the reward in the 2nd half when Zak followed in a shot from Aaran. Livingston came more into the game and scored 2 late goals as we tired with only 2 outfield subs. Great game overall and good luck to Livi in their season and hope to play again in the future. 👏⚫️⚪️
