LCD Taekwondo

LCD Taekwondo Local martial art classes, all ages and abilities welcome! This is a local martial art club, catering for students and abilities.

The class is run and organised by Chris McKenna a 4th Degree Blackbelt who has been training in TKD for over 23 years and been an instructor for 15+.years. A veteran of many competitions, both local and international. A fun and friendly local club aiming to improve fitness and self defence for all.

Class tonight starts at 5.30pm as normal but the grading starts at 6pm.
Please transfer grading fee before the test..

Thursday 18th June 6pm all juniors
Monday 22nd June gradings taking place at normal class timea
Sylwia Muir daniel will be 5.15pm on the monday. It is at the jim mckellar scout hall.

Huge Congratulations to our LCD students who attend the TAS Scottish Championships on Saturday 6th June. The students not only performed well, but were a credit for their sportsmanship and Taekwon-do etiquette. Our participants and medal winners were:

Willow Murphy-Rankin Silver for special technique
Lyra Campbell Gold for Sparring, Gold for Special and
Silver for patterns
Hollie Murphy-Rankin Gold for Patterns, Silver for Sparring and
Bronze for special
Caleb Rankin Silver for Sparring, Gold for Special
Technique
Harris MacKenzie Silver for patterns, Gold for Sparring

Andrew Waddell Silver for Sparring, Gold for Power

Also a huge thank you to the LCD referees that took time out their day to help run the tournament - we couldn't run it without them
