Today marks the close of Women's Golf Day 2026, and we couldn't let it pass without celebrating some of the incredible women who make The Buckinghamshire what it is every single day.

From the first tee to the clubhouse, behind the scenes and front of house, our team is filled with talented, passionate women who bring this club to life.

This post only scratches the surface. There are so many more faces, stories, and contributions that deserve to be celebrated.

Women's Golf Day feels like the right moment to look back on a very special occasion.

Earlier this month, (despite the torrential rain) competitors teed off in the US Women's Open Qualifier here at The Buckinghamshire, confirming our club's reputation as a championship-quality golf course and tournament venue.

Today is Women's Golf Day, and we couldn't think of a better moment to share Georgia's story.

In 2017, Georgia came to The Buckinghamshire as a 13-year-old spectator for the US Women's Open Qualifying. Watching the focus, the standard of play, and the atmosphere that day lit a spark, and she even got the chance to meet players like Annabel Dimmock.

Fast forward to 2026, and Georgia is now a PGA Trainee, Assistant Professional and Golf Assistant, here at The Buckinghamshire. This month, she organised volunteers for the USGA Women's Open Qualifying on the very course she once watched as a young fan, and competed in the Rose Ladies Series in the same field as Annabel Dimmock herself.

Georgia's journey is a powerful reminder of what those early experiences can do, and we hope her story inspires the next young golfer standing where she once stood.
