⚽️ WELCOME BACK, TOM! ⚽️

A huge congratulations to Denbigh U15s’ Tom Roberts, who is back doing what he loves after an incredibly difficult eight months.

Back in December, while playing for Denbigh Town U14s, Tom suffered a serious double leg break, fracturing both his right tibia and fibula. The Welsh Air Ambulance Service was required to assist Tom at the scene.

After months of recovery, hard work and determination, it was fantastic to see Tom back on the pitch and looking like his old self at the start of the new junior season. πŸ’ͺ⚽️

Tom was involved in Thursdays U15s league opener against Prestatyn Town U15s, providing assists for his teammates goals as Denbigh secured a fantastic victory! πŸ‘

His return is a brilliant reminder that setbacks can be overcome with patience, hard work and determination. Welcome back, Tom β€” it’s great to see you back where you belong! ❀️⚽️

There’s also an extra special connection to the Welsh Air Ambulance. Tom’s dad and U15s coach, Gav Roberts, will be taking part in next weekends GB Ultras Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) 50 Mile Ultra Marathon, raising money for the Welsh Air Ambulance Service.

We wish Gav the very best of luck with this incredible challenge, and thank him for helping support such an important service. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈβ€οΈ

⚽️ Deeside Summer Tournament – U12s ⚽️

It was an early morning start for our U12s as they took part in a brilliantly organised summer tournament hosted by Deeside Dragons.

The team took a little time to settle into the tournament, but soon found their rhythm with some impressive performances and victories against Penrhyn Bay, Greenfield and Wrexham-based clubs.

After a tense semi-final, they held their nerve to win on penalties and book their place in the Champions League final.

Despite a fantastic effort, they narrowly missed out on the trophy, losing 2–0 to Greenfield A in the final and finishing the tournaments runners up.

A brilliant day for the team and another clear sign of the progress they’ve made throughout the season. Exciting times lie ahead as they look forward to next season!

It was a truly memorable evening for many of our Denbigh Juniors on Sunday at Central Park.

As the UEFA European Under-19 Championship got underway, we had the privilege of hosting Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ U19s versus Denmark πŸ‡©πŸ‡° U19s here at Denbigh. It was an incredible experience for our young players to witness future stars in action on our immaculate football ground.

Our juniors proudly took on a variety of important roles throughout the evening, including mascots, flag bearers and ball boys. To make the occasion even more special, each of them was kindly gifted a full set of training kit by the UEFA organisers to wear on the day and keep as a lasting reminder of the experience.

It was an unforgettable occasion for everyone involved and one our youngsters will cherish for years to come.
A huge thank you to UEFA & DTFC for providing such a fantastic opportunity for our club and our young players.

Denbigh U9s travelled to the CPD Llanfairpwll Summer Tournament in Anglesey on Saturday and were crowned Champions League winners after an outstanding day of football! πŸ†

The team produced a fantastic run of performances, progressing all the way to the final without conceding a single goal. They played some brilliant football throughout the tournament and thoroughly deserved to lift the trophy.

A fantastic achievement for this talented group of youngsters. Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of you!

Denbigh Town Juniors Presentation & Awards Day 2025/26 πŸ†

The end-of-season Presentation & Awards Day took place recently at the stunning new clubhouse at Central Park, bringing together players, coaches and families to celebrate another fantastic season.

Throughout the day, all of our age groupsβ€”from the U6s through to the U16sβ€”joined us to reflect on the season and receive their well-deserved awards in recognition of their hard work, commitment and development.

The event ran smoothly in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, making full use of the excellent new facilities that our club now has to offer.

For many of our youngest players, this was their very first awards presentation as part of their football journey. At the other end of the pathway, our U16s marked the end of their junior football experience before taking the next step into men’s football.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. We hope all of our players and their families enjoyed the celebrations, and we now look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting season at Denbigh Town Football Club.
