Ferndale Park has three well-stocked coarse fishing lakes located in a very relaxing and secluded valley. Well stocked with mirror and common carp weighing double figures also rudd, roach, bream, tench and crucian carp. Car park and toilet adjacent to the lakes, also ample picnicking area around the lakes to just sit and relax if you are not a fishing person. A great day out for any coarse angler

beginner or experienced.

•Under 14's/OAP's £5 for 2 rods

Night Fishing per person £10. You must be over 18 to Night fish or if under 18 you must be supervised by an Adult. For Night fishing please contact Ashley on number below to book.

I had to ask two people to leave last week. I think it’s common sense to have a net big enough. Just because you are going for small fish dose not mean you want get something bigger Anything from 5 inches and above must be landed in a net.

Due to the hot weather, we won’t be taking delivery of the new Fish this week so the Lakes will be open all week we plan to close on the 3rd of June Wednesday which is the New delivery date for the fish we will be closed that Wednesday and Thursday back open Friday

Saturday 23rd bank holiday weekend
We will be open again How ever there is a change as the new fish are now coming next week Wednesday 27th
So i will closed that wednesday and thursday But open again on friday and back to normal then This is to let the new fish settle in Weather is looking good hope to see a few down there 🎣

Quick update if everything goes to plan this week I’m hoping to reopen this weekend🤞Keep a eye out on here But on the 26th May we will be closed for some new arrivals And back open on 28th May this is to let the new arrivals settle in 🎣 Please respect the rules and have the correct equipment as seen in image (7) No heavy line 12lb is heavy enough No braided line NO SEA RODS and make sure you have a decent size net and landing mat Also please be respectful to other anglers No Shouting This year i will be cracking down on the rules in place doing checks Also tickets will be getting checked So please make sure you keep your half you will need this to show me And put the second part in the box in the envelope provided for me to check you have paid As i work from home now and there will be frequent checks That’s all for now let’s hope the summer comes soon 🎣

Maintenance starting this weekend We are looking for some help this Saturday if anyone can lend a hand Looking for 2 young lads who want to earn some cash You will be mainly pushing wheel-barrow And also looking for 1 person with a wetsuit I can supply one tho if needed to help clean the lake Give us a message here or on 07474479521 thanks in advance ash

Lakes are still closed As maintenance work will be starting this weekend Also who ever the kids are who seem to be fishing today when it’s clearing closed and under age Please do not come back without a adult And make sure when you do come with a adult you have the correct equipment IE rod light-line net landing mat barbless hooks Those are the rules Hopefully the parents see this thank you
