Competing, Promoting & Developing Across ALL Levels in North Wales & The North West for Over Half a Century! New members are always welcome.

Stella Maris badminton club is all about bringing fun and competitive games to people who enjoy playing badminton. We play in a state of the art badminton center based just outside Llandudno. Coaching is offered to players who want or require training. This is offered by numerous players at the club due to all different styles of play and abilities. teven Gibbons who will give more information ). We compete in the Conwy and district League in both division A and B. Junior badminton players are also welcome. For the more advanced players there is the opportunity to play in the Chester and district league as well as county matches. Stella Maris is also affiliated with Badminton Wales and registered badminton club in the north wales area. We also invite new players to join us with the international Twinning event, where we go and play in Wormhout (France) or you can choose to join us with the annual trip to watch the all England held in Birmingham. We are so much more than just a Badminton club.

Here are the final tables from the 2025/26 season.

This season’s (A) team triumph was extra special because it was the eighth time in a row of winning the first division. Surpassing the record held by Newborough Deganwy, with seven titles in a row, which had stood since 1965. What a close one it was too 😅

Congratulations to Mike and Brandon for winning the annual Terry Taylor Christmas Tournament tonight, beating Ken and Isabel in the final.

As well as some fun and competitive badminton, we raised £185 for our junior club.

Thank you for all of the donations and thanks to everyone who came along, it was a great turnout.

On Sunday night we will be holding our annual Terry Taylor Christmas Tournament.

If you wish to enter please be at Bryn Estyn for 7pm, with a minimum £5 entry fee. Proceeds going to our junior club.

Partners will be decided on the night.

Feel free to bring some left over Christmas food and drink with you.

We're extremely proud to announce that Pam Gibbons, has now received official recognition for her many years of voluntary service to both ourselves and of course to the league, the association, badminton Wales and Bryn Estyn.

We would like to thank the panel at the Conwy Sports Awards for recognising Pam’s contribution by awarding her the "Services To Sport" Award at Venue Cymru last night.

Well done and well deserved Pam Gibbons 🍾👏🏸

Congratulations to Andy and Gwyn for winning the annual Terry Taylor Charity Christmas Tournament tonight, beating Kai and Mark in the final.

As well as some fun and competitive badminton, we raised £155.

Thank you for all of the donations and thanks to the members of Vadre and Great Orme who came along too.
