Kaikanikani over and out

WOW, What a day we have had. The smiles and cheers were everywhere.
I am so proud of every single dancer for their hard work and for shining on that stage like a star.
Memories were made that I know will last a lifetime.
From our Tiny Dancers to our adult dancers thank you for making today so very special.
To the parents, grandparents, friends and relatives who came to watch, thank you for such incredible feedback. Sometimes I wander if my ideas are just a little too crazy, but today you have confirmed you are all just as crazy as me 😄 thank you for continuing to support your dancers and our dance school. 💃
So I guess I'd better get a cuppa and start planning the next one .....

Im missing a few people in the pic but just to put a little post of thanks to our amazing, kind and supportive senior dancers. This morning they have shown once again why our dance school is so special. You are a truly remarkable group of humans and I am so grateful have been part of your life seeing you all flourish into such beautiful young women inside and out xx

So, I don't normally cross personal on to the business page but....
Miss T is taking on a fundraising challenge for a cause very close to her heart.
She will be undertaking 74 miles in March in aid of The Stroke Association.
If you can support her in any way at all the smallest amount of pennies really will make a big difference.

Finally home, shattered, after a very long day in London at the IDTA Congress.
Miss Tracy has watched lectures in Ballet, Tap, Commercial, Musical Theatre and Freestyle.
She also managed to squeeze in lunch with friends, catch ups with senior colleagues and lots of new ideas.
The life of a dance teacher isn't just the hours teaching in the studio, it is so much more than that and days like this with friends are part of the background work good dance teachers often do.

As we begin a new year that promises to be filled with fun, friendship, shows, exams and so much more it is important to take a moment to reflect on how far we have come and to use that to cary us forward. Make the footprints on your new path with purpose, grace and joy. The dance of 2026 has just begun, may the music be joyful and fill your heart with everything that makes you smile 😃

Well, what a way to end our year, I have today received the examinations results from our December 6th session WOW. WOW. WOW. I am proud beyond belief. The results are incredible. Hard work, dedication and a lot of smiles produce the best dancers. There were so many Distinction grades I didn't know where to look.
Students ranged from our tiny Rosette dancers right through to Fellowship examination mixing teaching qualifications with amateur awards being examined in a range of genre including Ballet, Tap and Theatrecraft.
Well done everyone you should all be very proud of yourselves x

Today is a very special day for me, (Miss Tracy).
Today is the 30th anniversary of the day I took the exam for my first full teaching qualification. After 3 years full time studying and a lot of hard work this was one of my proudest days of my life.
So, thank you to the most inspirational teachers who guided me and supported me back then, Miss Sarah, Miss Susan, Miss Vicky and of course the Legend that was Miss Betty Pattison who seemed to know us better than we knew ourselves. I wouldn't be where I am today without you all.
Never give up, your dreams can come true.

Well, it's finally here, time for a little Disney magic. Miss Zoe is off on her job of a lifetime, sailing the seas on the brand new Disney cruise liner sailing from Singapore.
We don't know what magic spell will be cast upon her but we quite like our version of Disney magic transforming her into tinkerbell.
Whatever happens on this magical journey, Miss Zoe will be missed by us all, but we wish you every happiness, you deserve the stars 🌟
So, with a wave of a wand and a spring in your step its time to bibidi bobidi boo and make your dreams come true. Xx
