I went back to where it all began today with a visit to Banbury Tennis Club to watch Ollie in his U9’s matchplay tournament.

As you can see from the picture he went on and won the whole thing…

It was a lot of fun to watch. (14-12 in the final tho 😬)

Huge congratulations to Ollie Carson for winning his 9U Tournament in Leamington on Sunday.

Ollie managed to go through the round robin format undefeated and picked up his second winners’ medal in his first few weeks of competing. 🥇🥇

But maybe in our next lesson we can work on holding the certificate the right way up!

In a tight contest under the floodlights at Banbury West End they came in second place with a 5-4 defeat.

Haven’t posted in a while but thought now would be as good a time as any!

Just wanted to say “well done and what a performance” today by the Deddington ladies team in the LTA National league.

It was their first match at ‘Regional level’ and as you can see by the picture they won 10-2.

A week late but never mind as the memories of the Torbay Open 2022 will last a very long time.

🎾 Massive congratulations to Daniela, Maya and Kathryn on your tennis successes last week.

🎾 Daniela it was so ‘cooooool’ watching you follow in the footsteps of Sue Barker and Jo Durie in winning the U14 singles title. 🏆

🎾 Hope we can do it again next year for more Asda shopping trips, Arctic Monkeys, Pier Arcades, Feeling poorly on fairground rides, Eminem, Beach trips, Heads up, Fish and chips, Winning Trophies and maybe play some tennis 🙂🎾
