Hello All!

I’m not sure if many people know, but total fitness mix has been open a whopping 10 years this year!

The business has evolved incredibly over the past decade and it’s all thanks to the support of the members who have been loyal to us for so many years.

I can speak on behalf of myself and the team on how lucky we are so have such incredible members and we have all formed so many fantastic bonds with so many of you! 😌

I’ve decided to re-brand our logo, the business was mainly started with my dad and now it’s solely mine, so I want to put my own stamp on it and now’s the time!

We will be bringing in a new clothing line of t-shirts, vests, hats etc and all of our signage and everything will be changing over the next month!

We’re looking to get the upstairs painted after the summer too so the gym will have a nice fresh look like we’ve just done with the studio!

This time last year I was knee deep in parenthood and didn’t really have a work presence. Now my daughter is a little bit older, I’m putting more time back out there for coaching.

Ive kept this going the entire time, I’ve still been coaching people since the day Lottie was born, I’ve just been terrible with social media!

My 2026 diary is open, I’ve recently had 2 new people jump on board before Christmas, which is a great time to start!

HAPPY Monday everyone!

As you all know, we have had problem after problem with access over the past few months!

After having the software scrutinised, the electric to the door etc all checked. We noticed the press to exit button getting stuck.

Turns out, it’s highly likely that this button when worn could get stuck and then not allow the door to open, which would make complete sense to the absolute randomness of the door not working and we couldn’t pin point any coincidences at all! This is a super easy fix and something that can now easily be rectified in the future! 👏🏻

We’re really hoping that this is our problem solved ☑️

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!

We are aware there have been access issues lately, we’ve had an electrician out last week who fitted the system test the electrics and stressed to us everything is working fine.

The system is also always picking up peoples check ins, so we do think a large part of this issue is user error.

We understand it can be confusing because there is a delay with the door opening because of the relay that was fitted.

Monday the 11th, we are having an external light fitted on the outside of the door, so when it unlocks the light will go off. This will signal when to open the door.

Members need to make sure they are:
- listening for their QR code to beep
- Waiting 2 seconds to open the door
- The sound of the unlocking can sometimes be very quiet so this isn’t a reliable way to know when it’s open (hence the fitting of the light)
- Pulling the door handle ALL the way down, it’s an old door so you need to push it all the way down.

We are limited on the entry door systems we can have because of the set up of our premises, space available as you walk in etc.

Although frustrating, please remember this was done all for our members benefit, allowing us to be open a great range of opening hours 7 days a week.

And those having issues can vouch that I get things sorted as quickly as I can, whether it’s 5am or 9pm
