BlackCat cat 2 rider Alan Wylie has had a really strong start to his road season...racimg at the MK Bowl E123 Circuit series he has placed 5th twice and 7th twice in these very competetive events. 37 points earned already for 2025 - well done!!

Regional Champion!!
BlackCat rider Eleanor Betts won her age category at the West Midlands Cyclocross League Regional Championships on Sunday!! Topping an already impressive season, Eleanor battled cramp and the awful conditions brought by Storm Bert to come away with top spot - well done, a brilliant result!

WORLD CHAMPION!!!
BlackCat athlete Selina Clifford took her first AG World Title (35-39) at the World Triathlon Age-Group Championships in Torremolinos on Saturday!! This crowned an incredible season of Tri, TT and running success and was her main goal of 2024!
Exiting the water after a slower swim than she wanted, Selina came through T1 onto the bike to record the fastest bike split of the entire day at 1:03:03, then power through T2 to finish with a run split of 38:44 - over 1 minute faster than the next best split!
Her overall time of 02:15:58 put her 21s ahead of 2nd place - an amazing performance from this incredibly hard- working athlete!!
Look out for Selina in 2025 both in Tri and in TT - lots of goals to come!!

WIN for BlackCat rider at the VTTA London and Home Counties open 25 mile TT!
Shaun powered round the course in 51:48 to take the win by over 40 seconds, his first open TT win - well done!!!!

BlackCat rider Eleanor Betts raced to 2nd place in her age group and 10th overall at Round 4 of the following on from a 5th and 2 4th AG places in the first 3 rounds....fabulous results, well done!!!

2nd best time ever over 10 miles for BlackCat rider Andy Robinson at the Icknield RC Open event! Andy stopped the clock at 22:13, just 19s off his best ever time, achieved in 2018 - not bad for 65 years young 😃😃😃💪💪💪!!! Well done - 10 min power PB too!

Winners!!! BlackCat rider Ashley Newman .newmancyclist partnered with Tim Flynn finished first pair in the absolutely brutal Transiberica 2024 !!
The event is unsupported and one-stage, meaning that the racers must plot their own route between the mandatory checkpoints. This year the route started in Bolzano, Italy and finished in Bilbao, Spain. It covered some absolutely spectacular terrain, with some of the toughest climbs a cyclist can come up against....
Finishing in 9 days, the stats were:

Total miles 1739.21
Total elevation 112, 801 feet.

An absolutely amazing result in a brutally hard event - well done!!!

2 PBs achieved this season for BlackCat rider Mat Lister , with a 25 mile best at 55:05 and a 10 mile best at 20:21! A great season...and next year sub-20 min 10 for sure!!

PB! BlackCat rider Shaun Jarvis lowered his 10 mile PB to a scorching 19:23 in the ECCA 10 at the weekend, good enough for 15th overall in some rapid company - well done!!!

CTT National 10 mile TT Championships!

There were 5 BlackCat riders at last weekend's Nat 10 Champs with Howard Bayley .bayley finishing in 36th place overall, and winning his age group! Not far behind him was Simon Bowler "fresh" from his 12 hour ride 2 weeks before - Simon came 3rd in his age group, ticking off his final goal for the season

National 12 hour TT Championships!
BlackCat rider Simon Bowler finished in 8th place overall, and took the age group win by 25 miles! Simon amassed an amazing 286.55 miles for the 12 hours, an av speed of just under 24mph! This was the big goal for Simon in 2024, and he has hit all the others on the way too!
