We also have a family friendly bar along with a pool table open week days from 7pm. Novice nights for new members on Wednesdays from 6pm over the winter period.

Deal Rowing Club is a thriving sports club offering coastal rowing both recreational and competitive to all ages, as well as a fully equipped gym for land based training for all our members.

🏆 J14 Quad – 1st Place
💪 Open J16 Quad – 3rd Place
💪 Ladies J16 Quad – 3rd Place
🥉 Men's Senior Four – 3rd Place
🥈 Ladies Senior Four – 2nd Place
🥉 Novice Ladies – 3rd Place, with a strong performance from our B crew
💪 Novice Men – 5th Place
💪 Junior Men – 5th Place

Well done to everyone who raced today.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Harris, one of the great oarsmen of our cub. Our thoughts and condolences go out to all his family at this sad time
He was the strokeman of the Senior four that won the Bideford Bowl, the first the club ever won. A first also for the Coast Amateur Rowing Association, he followed up the next year with this crew by winning it again.

Hastings Regatta 2026🚣‍♀️

What a fantastic day on the water! We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented the club today and gave their all in some highly competitive racing.

Results:
🥇 J14 Quad – 1st Place
🥉 Men's Senior Pair – 3rd Place
🥈 Men's Senior Four – 2nd Place
🚣 J16 Quad – 4th Place
🚣 Novice Women's Four – 6th Place
🚣 Novice Men's Four – 5th Place
🚣 Junior Men's Crew – 5th Place

A special mention to our J14 Quad, who got the day off to the perfect start by taking the win in their event! 🥇

We were also delighted to see our ladies' novice four competing in their very first race.

Congratulations to all our rowers, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made today such a success.
