Everyone at Radnor Park Ladies has been devastated by the tragic loss of our coach, and friend, Joe Heath.

His unwavering dedication, time, love and passion for this team, week in and week out, brought us closer together; not just as teammates, but as friends. Through rain or shine, he was always our strongest supporter. Always the spark we needed, making us laugh, smile and work hard for each other.

Unbelievably proud of the ladies. We started slow out of the gates and were punished by the opposition conceding goals from silly mistakes early on. Kings Hill were well organised and efficient on the ball but the ladies dug deep, worked hard and with determination we found our rhythm and eventually the back of the net. Half time we were 3-1 down but came out fighting and worked as a unit and although there were chances at both ends unfortunately we were unable to find the net again.

We showed desire and undeniable spirit and the although we worked hard the scoreline remained the same.

We played a great game today with high intensity. The team’s positioning and ball movement were excellent, and we created a lot of good chances. I’m very happy with the overall performance and the spirit the players showed on the pitch. We just need to keep this momentum going for the next match.

Match Week 11 🔴⚪️

First team:

Unreal graft from the ladies today in a game we knew we’d be up against it. The ladies kept the game at 0-0 until the 40th minute saw a dubious penalty decision give Maidstone the opportunity to take the lead. Shortly followed by a second for Maidstone before half-time after reacting first to a shot off the post.

The second half saw the ladies battle hard and create plenty of chances to get back into the game, Maidstone’s game plan and patterns of play seemingly no longer coming our way made the game become a bit of a dog fight, with both teams giving as good as they got.

Another arguable decision in the final minutes allowed Maidstone to counter and get a 3rd just before the final whistle.

All in all, great battle and spirit from the ladies- despite a worse score line than the first game against Maidstone, it felt like a better performance again.

Today’s match showed real strength and spirit. We gave everything on the pitch proving our quality, yet we know we must push harder to learn from our mistakes and come back even stronger.

What a performance from the girls today.

Conceding early and against the run of play, it was great to see the team dig deep and fight back, drawing level at 1-1 with a strong spell towards the end of the first half. We stepped up another gear after the break, raising our intensity and giving Biddenden very little to work with as we went on to win convincingly.

Every player showed up, worked hard and left everything on the pitch. This is what teamwork looks like.

A lot of grit and determination required today as we came from behind twice to win the game 3-2. Kent United gave as good as they got every minute today creating a very good battle.

Changes at half time allowed us to sustain pressure in the game and keep ourselves in the hat for the next round.

A tough test today against a well-organised Guru Nanak side. We started brightly, taking an early lead through a well-worked cross from Ruby that deflected off a Guru defender to make it 1-0. The first half remained tightly contested, but a few key decisions didn’t go our way—including a possible offside and a penalty shout—which saw us trail 3-1 at the break.

We came out strong in the second half, dominating the opening 20 minutes and pushing hard to get back into the game. Despite our momentum, we conceded against the run of play, and as legs began to tire, Guru Nanak made the most of their squad depth, rotating fresh players and finishing the game strongly.

Plenty of positives to take, and proud of the effort shown throughout.
