Today the U13 won their league with a game to spare.

After a fantastic season only losing 1 and drawing 1 in the league. They have done us proud.

Thank you to everyone involved this season. But a big thank you to the players for all the effort they have put in. And the parents for their commitment to the team.

What a season it’s been for our Under-12s! ⚽👏

The season is now complete, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of these lads. Not only have they worked hard and represented the team brilliantly, but the development in every player from start to finish has been absolutely fantastic to see.

As a Dawley team, we’re incredibly proud of this group and the progress they’ve made together both as footballers and as teammates. The attitude, effort, commitment and togetherness they’ve shown all season has been outstanding.

CUP FINAL, HERE WE COME 🏆

So, so proud of the Under 9s today! 💪⚽

They reached the Cup Final after holding their nerve to beat Wrekin Lions in a real nail-biter of a semi-final. The team showed great determination and character when it mattered most.

Huge credit to Wrekin Lions as well for their part in a fantastic semi-final — a brilliant game from both sides. 👏

Dawley Wanderers U11 Girls were back in action today, facing a very well organized Sinclair U11 side in a tough cup fixture.

The conditions were far from ideal, the pitch was extremely difficult to navigate, but you wouldn't have known it by watching our girls. After such a lengthy break from competitive play, they did brilliantly to find their rhythm so quickly.

Highlights of the day:

Resilience: They looked comfortable and composed despite the challenging surface.

Quality: We saw some excellent spells of football and great tactical awareness.

Work Rate: Every player gave 100% effort from the first whistle to the last.

It was a fantastic return to the pitch and a performance the whole team should be proud of. Well done, girls! 👏💪

After many weeks away from the pitch, the Dawley Wanderers U11 Girls returned to action today against a very strong Saha side.

Despite the long break, the girls didn't miss a beat. They adapted brilliantly to a new module and played some of the best football we’ve seen yet the passing and movement were absolutely top-tier!

It was a fair, hard-fought battle from start to finish. Huge credit to Saha, who never gave up and played their part in a high-quality game. Both sets of coaches and parents should be incredibly proud of the display today.

Well done, girls! A great foundation for the rest of the year.

🎄⚽ What a way to finish the year! ⚽🎄

Dawley Wanderers U12s boys

We wrapped up our Christmas period in the best way possible with an incredible day out at the paintballing 🎯

For some of the kids, it was their very first time paintballing, and they absolutely loved every second of it big smiles, loads of laughter, and plenty of action from start to finish!

It was the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work, commitment, and teamwork they’ve shown on the football pitch this season. Swapping boots for paintball masks and finishing with a big splash of fun was exactly what everyone needed 💥

Days like this are what it’s all about memories made, confidence built, and bonds strengthened as a team.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a fantastic day. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the year ❤️
