Carol is one of our Woodford students, and he always seems to bring a great big smile with him. It has been brilliant watching him get stuck into his Taekwondo and grow in confidence along the way. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

From working hard in class and at gradings, to medals, trophies and even being named ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก, he has already packed quite a lot into his Taekwondo journey. ๐Ÿ†

What we really love is that he clearly enjoys being part of the club too. Whether he is in the middle of a pattern, standing proudly with a medal, or beaming at the camera with a trophy, Carol brings bags of enthusiasm to Woodford.

Louis has been part of the club for a good few years now, quietly working his way through the grades and keeping going even when he doesnโ€™t always realise just how much he can do. Weโ€™ve watched him grow in confidence, take on new challenges and keep putting himself out there at classes, gradings and events. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฅ‹

Sometimes progress in Taekwondo isnโ€™t about being the loudest, fastest or most confident person in the room. Itโ€™s about **turning up, having another go and gradually becoming capable of things that once felt difficult**. Louis has certainly done plenty of that. โญ

A very happy birthday to Paul, who has recently joined us at Woodford Halse!

We may not yet have many photographs of Paul training with us, but we do have some wonderful evidence of his long Taekwon-Do history.

Paul was awarded his 1st Dan on 2 July 1995 and also qualified as a National Umpire with the Global Taekwon-Do Federation.

More than 30 years later, he is still training, still learning and now beginning the next chapter of his Taekwon-Do journey with us at Woodford Halse.

It is never too late to return to something you love, join a new club or keep developing skills built over many years.

A very happy birthday to Madison, one of our Woodford Halse Tigers!

Madison is a very able student, but her ability is hard-earned. Things do not always come easily to her, but she works at them, keeps practising and refuses to give up until she gets there.

That determination has helped her become a strong patterns and sparring student, and she has earned every step of her progress. ๐Ÿ’ช

Madison trains alongside her dad, brother and younger sister, making Taekwondo a genuine family activity. With four members of the family training together, they also benefit from our family discounts.

She is now taking another step forward by training to become one of our classroom assistants, learning how to help and encourage younger and newer students in class.
